Rey's cheeks tint pink. She stares at him for a beat too long, making Ben fidget slightly under her gaze. Finally she clears her throat and looks away. “Um. It just…is?”

Great. She’s the first Alpha who he’s loved the smell of in years and she’s just as awkward as he is.

for star wars thursday.. maybe some alpha rey x omega reader. rey is super protective alpha ? the sequel trio are very cute to reader bc she’s the only omega in their mini pack. up to you to interpret!! love your abo stuff :)

- While Rey is tough, not one actually thinks she’s ‘strong’ in the sense of physicality. 

- That quickly changes when another Alpha tries to steal you from her.

- Let’s just say all Rey got from that conflict, was bruised knuckles and a newfound reputation.

- Rey didn’t even realize she was that protective, especially since she hadn’t claimed you yet.

- She’s at first worried about Poe, Finn not so much since he was a Beta, but Poe was another high-level alpha. 

- But Poe keeps his distance until Rey nods at him.

- They both become protective of you as well.

- To be clear you are not innocent by any means and you can take care of yourself

- it’s just easier for Poe and Rey to watch your back while Finn walks you away from the situation.

- After Rey claims you, your nest moves to her quarters and she realizes that you are completely hers.

- She loves walking around the base while you talk about your job

- loves kissing you to interrupt you in the middle of your rants.

- On nights after the Cantina went a little too long, as you’re dragging Rey back, she’ll grab at your ass and nip at your pulse point because honestly, she’s the horniest drunk you’ve ever meet. (Well besides Poe)

- Once you get her in all Rey does is cuddle into you and tells you how cute and sweet you are while also still trying to get your pants off.

- the first time Rey even finds out it’s already awkward.

- she wasn’t sure she was even attracted to women and yet there she was with you

- living on Jakku didn’t help either. She learned to survive not thrive

- when you caught the strong scent coming off her, backed off as a whimper left your lips

- when you told her why, Rey quickly got up and left the room.

- as you walked around base, you kept trying to grab her attention but she always used Finn or Poe to save her

-neither man understood what was going on. They knew Rey liked you, a lot actually.

- when you finally got her alone, you wrapped your arms around her waist and kissed along her neck.

- when she caught the strong scent coming off you, she couldn’t help slamming you into the wall.

-when you whimpered again, she quickly backed off and ran off AGAIN

- each time she saw you the conversations were short and awkward

-Rey was becoming more awkward then she already was

- you quickly picked up in the fact she knew nothing about being an Alpha

- so you convinced Poe to help her understand.

- He of course pointed out that they butted heads but you reminded him that Rey respected the hell out of him.

- he explained the thing about scents and that Alphas are always usually attracted to Omegas, like yourself

- that’s why when you whimpered she backed off in fear of hurting you

- it took a lot more awkward encounters before Rey felt comfortable enough to call you her’s
