becca’s not popular , but liked enough that she doesn’t really feel . . . bothered? if people don’t like her or don’t want to be friends. she used to spend a lot of time when she was a child anxious and upset about it , and especially unwilling to bring anyone over in case hannah was a. drunk or b. sleeping off a hangover. it was just easier to keep her friends circle small and people she truly let in smaller. sam’s been her closest friend for as long as she can remember , and someone who doesn’t judge her at all. with the blossoming friendships in new ham like with kelly , becca still struggles sometimes in shutting people out but , she’s working on it because this is a whole new world now. she doesn’t have to hide or worry about her past or home life. only her future.
