We all have heroes. They could be our parents, our friends, our siblings, ourselves even, maybe it could be your role model who’s perfect, lived an amazing life, is happy and can’t wish for anything more. Or maybe it could be a man, who’s long gone but forever in our hearts always putting smiles on our faces when we struggle to do so on our own, a man who’s been through hell, who’s been thrown away and made to feel a stray, who’s been let down a million and one times, who’s lost hope in everything including himself. It could be a man who picked himself up all by himself, who got over his drug addiction all by himself, a man who had friends alike to him and they had such similar ideas. They made a band thinking it would be nothing but a distraction from their pain but it turned out to be a distraction from everyone’s pain. It could be Kurt Cobain. Who’s saved lives, changed perspectives, created happiness, raised awareness and respected people even though he was disrespected and treated like an animal and always misunderstood hence seen as a monster. Sure he’s gone but he’s forever here with us in our hearts, saving us when we feel like nothing in this world can save us. He really did deserve the whole world and more, he was worth more than the elements on this earth. Happy birthday Kurt❤️
