Alya is the best character in the show, bite me
Im now 99.9% convinced that Nemesis is another boring, dull fake-out.
But the 0.01%? Something Alya salty is gonna happen and I dont like.

Heroes of Paris --- What is it?
This is a silly au of a rewrite of season one and an au of the rest of the seasons.
THIS AU WILL HAVE MARINETTE SALT!!!
Marinette is not evil. She's just a delusional bitch.
Hey can someone tell me the reason (besides obvious racism) why there's so many goddamn Alya Salt fics who treat her like she just betrayed Marinette for no reason and was Lila's bestie, when all she did was say "Mari, you need evidence before saying Lila's a liar"? Like seriously, there's SO many fics that have Alya as the baddie who Nino needs to either get away from or mindlessly follow?

What's your opinion about Alya salt?
0/10. Do not like. Leave my girl alone.
Look, not everyone has to like every character, but the Alya salt is out of control in this fandom. It's to the point where people turn this sweet and loyal girl into a cruel and heartless bully in a way that doesn't even vaguely resemble who she is as a character.
And often times this is done either in the name of Lila takedowns or Chloe redemption (or both), which is really sad because I do love both of those things, but when I see the "Alya salt" tag added onto fics with those elements it turns me away.
It's a thing that I have seen with other characters and in other fandoms too though, where the fic writer wants one character to have the role another has in canon (best friend, significant other, etc), so they completely villainize the one with the canon role in order to get them out of the way, but it's just a trope that I don't care for in any form.
Hey, do you want some Alya content I wrote 2-3 months ago but never got around to posting? Here you go.
Alya would have made for such a fascinating protagonist for how she'd have dealt with being the main Ladybug holder.
Her relationship with her family conflicting with her hero work, especially her sisters since it's rare for a superhero to be anything but an only child.
Her recent move into a new school while navigating the social dynamics established years before her arrival.
How her superhero blog/ journalism is affected by her role as a superhero as she tries to be transparent with her reporting without blowing her secret identity.
How she tries to narrow down Hawkmoth's identity while struggling to remove false leads and fabricated evidence from the truth.
Her friendship with Chat Noir as a superhero duo, along with Master Fu as their mentor.
These were just a few ideas but it's a fun thought exercise to imagine another miraculous character as the main protagonist.
This is an addition as I'm typing, but I'm wondering how her and Chat Noir's bond with the other kwamis/heroes would be like in this hypothetical rewrite. Even her relationship with Chloe would be different as they'd have only known each other for a few months (?) compared to the years of experience the rest of the class has with Chloe. Now I'm wondering what Scarabella's reaction to Chloe's hero worship would be like if it's similar to how it was in the first few seasons.
