Hey!!! I hope you're having a fantastic day/night. Anyway, I LOVE YOUR ART!! How did you get started, and what motivated/inspired you to develop your skills? <3 Stay awesome!
Hi there!!! I hope you’re having a fantastic whatever hour of the day it is for you too ;)I’ve always doodled at the corners of my paper in classes, and doodled on placemats at restaurants while we waited for our food (90′s kid equivalent of being handed an iPad, I guess?)I got my Copic Markers when I was in middle school as a reconciliation gift from my grandfather (long story), and that’s the only coloring medium I had. Back then, I didn’t use them much, they just sat there and aged with me through the years. I started doodling again when my psychiatrist (and later, my neurologist) suggested any kind of outlet like writing or drawing, and I decided on it for Art Therapy about two years ago. But that was only with pencil and paper. It wasn’t until maybe my first Castiel Trench Coat rant post that I started getting serious with my Copic Markers again. That was April of last year.Honestly, it’s feedback like yours that has been the catalyst for me to develop and hone my skills.I still consider myself very much a beginner in “Art”, and much more so in digital art since I only got my iPad last November. I’m learning from my mistakes every time I draw :)“I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it.”— Vincent Van GoghThank you so much for your Ask, you stay awesome too ;D
