Sicko by Amo Jones

I can not stress this enough, PLEASE pay attention to the trigger warnings, and be aware of the topics discussed (and described) in this book. Read reviews if you’re unsure.

I was SO close to putting this down and marking it as a DNF. And when I say close, I mean I forced myself through one more chapter instead of starting another one at ten at night. Chapter 19 changed it all for me. It was never a bad book! The characters and the story were never an issue! It was a me problem, which is why I wanted to give it one more chance. (So thank you again chapter 19!) I’m still new to the world of MC, and this one was so much heavier than the one I’ve read previously. “Sicko” is not only the perfect choice for Royce, but also for the story this book tells. Thanks to the developments (both storyline and character) I was able to truly get past the things I didn’t like. And considering how it all tied together, it was rewarding! While I wasn’t sure if I would ever enjoy Sicko the way I enjoyed Royce, he proved me wrong. They were always the same person. Sicko just has a knife, and more to fight for.
