Amped Wireless Range Extender Home Network Settings

If you have weak network connection in your house and wants to improve the performance of your Wi-Fi then you can use Wi-Fi extender. To install your extender you need to keep the following things in your mind and check further settings on amped wireless range extender setup.

Location of Extender: It is very important where you place your Wi-Fi range extender. The best location will be the half way of your router and dead zones to avoid dead zones. To check whether your extender is working or not you need to switch on your computer. Connect the high gain antenna by screwing it into the antenna connector and then plug the range connector in power outlet, now connect your computer or laptop to the range extender.

Open your web browser, login to setup menu and go to dashboard. Highlight and select the Wi-Fi network that you want to extend and click Next to move forward. Take a note that your Wi-Fi networks strength is greater than 70%.  If you are not getting the speed of the 70% then you can check the location your extender, it may be placed far from your device. To increase the strength of your network you can move the extender near your device.

To connect with the Wi-Fi you have to enter the security key if the Wi-Fi security enabled, then type next to continue. In the process the wizard will detect the network security setting of your home. If you forgot the key of the network which you are trying to extend then simply click on back button.
