IT'S FINALLY DONE!! What was supposed to be a simple little 2000 word writing sprint, turned into almost 18,000 words and I still have no idea how. I have massive ADHD and by the end I feel like I had poured a lot of myself into the character of the reader.

Huge thanks to this writing community and how you always encourage and challenge the writers within to keep going. I truly appreciate your thoughts, advice, and critiques.

In chapter 140, real!Ciel states that our!Ciel no longer has to act like the earl since he (real!Ciel) has returned.

On the surface, this might not seem that threatening. Our!Ciel is saying, “You did a good job, but I’ll take it from here.” However, there is one major issue with that.

Our!Ciel has no place really to go.

He ‘sacrificed’ his identity on the day he decided to take his brother’s name.

It’s highly unlikely that he could just suddenly become himself again. Our!Ciel has been technically missing for 3 years. Even if he could take back his name, it’s not like he has a life he can go back to. The life he has built is a lie, and the life he had before went up in flames.

So what is real!Ciel really wanting him to do now?
