Hello I just wanted to ask if you ever will continue your denice fanfiction(the apartment upstairs) because I really loved it and yeah im sorry if I'm annoying or so

OMG this isn’t annoying at all! I’m so glad you like it!

I actually have written a fair amount of the next chapter, but 2016 was rough psychologically for me which made it difficult to write (which is why I haven’t published anything on AO3 since January 2016). I’m in a better headspace now somehow so I’ve been trying to get back into it - so hopefully I’ll have the next chapter up soon-ish!

Pumpkin Spice, Smelly Candles, The Color Orange

- Pumpkin Spice (what’s your drink of choice?): My go-to regular drink is water, but my favorite fall drinks are Apple Cider (non-alcoholic) and McKenzie’s Pumpkin Jack Hard Cider (alcoholic)

- Smelly Candles (what’s your absolute favorite scent?): I love Warm Spice scented candles, though I’m not sure what my favorite scent ~in general~ is.

- The Color Orange (do you have a specific song that reminds you of autumn? what is it?): Basically any of the Hex Girls songs from Scooby Doo and the Witch’s Ghost… otherwise not really. Most of my goth/emo shit is on a year-round rotation.

10. Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

I actually wrote the first page or so (the Norway-Iceland scene) back around 2011 but never did anything with it. I wanted to write a Denmark/Iceland fic and I stumbled across it in my drafts so I decided to use it. As far as the plot goes, its a cliche for me I guess? Party on Our Own has a similar setup. Also I wanted to write something smutty just to see if I could orz.

11. What do you like best about this fic?

That, at least in my mind, I was okay at writing smut. X’D But I also like how chapters 1 and 2 tell chunks of the same story from a different perspective? idk.

Personal Chaos

1. What inspired you to write the fic this way?

TBH, I wrote chapter one very quickly and it was meant to be a short gag story. But now its my longest and its taken me the longest to finish. (I’m about halfway done with Chapter 9 but the structure of it is so complicated its taking me a long time). I kinda like where it ended up, all deep in a way that I completely bullshitted.

8. Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?

Not that I can think of. Maybe the idea of not knowing where to go next that a lot of early 20-somethings have? But as far as I can remember nothing plot-wise was lifted from my life whatsoever.
