[Looks at prompts] lets go with a Victurio werewolf!au?
Viktor growled at the wolf in front of him, receiving the same response. The air was pretty tense, much so that you could cut it with a knife. Behind him, Yuri was watching confused as to what caused this behavior, he had only heard some yelling before Viktor and the other person turned into their wolf shape. This other guy was a little bulkier, even in his human force, but what Viktor lacked, was balanced by his speed and quick thinking.
They suddenly ran after each other, biting and barking and growling, Yuri turned too into his wolf form, hoping to achieve something. And even with his enhanced senses, he could only see balls of fur going at the speed of light, at each other’s throat like there was no tomorrow.
It was long after—half an hour or so—that they made it out, Viktor came out winner but was heavily injured. And now Yuri had to carry him all the way back, reaching their shared home and healing his wounds once they were safe.
“You idiot! You could’ve died!” He scolded, kicking some pebble stones in the way lest he hurt Viktor more than he already was. Viktor just gave out a light chuckle and then a yelp when Yuri pressed too much on a wound.
“I’m sorry, kitten.” He tried apologizing, maybe if he used some pet names on his mate it would work to sooth him. Yuri just sighed.
“What did he say for you to react that harshly?” He had to admit he was quite curious, Viktor grimaced, hoping for it to look like it was from the pain of the wound instead from rage, but the way he was showing his teeth and his slight growl gave him away. “What was it Viktor?” He asked again exasperated.
Viktor’s ears seemed to deflate, as if ashamed. “He was saying some really mean things about you, like how you weren’t really all that strong, nor threatening and that you would’ve been better off as a female, who can at least carry offspring.” He made himself smaller, avoiding eye contact and Yuri just sighed again.
“You shouldn’t care that much, I’m used to jerks like him saying that kind of stuff, so don’t fret yourself over it if I don’t either, okay? Otherwise, you’ll get yourself killed pretty quickly.” He finished wrapping a bandage and stared at Viktor, who was entranced by his calm emerald eyes. His own azure ones lit up with enthusiasm and he launched himself towards Yuri, giving small happy barks. “Oi, get off! You’re heavy!”
