redid the year's title page today - it bothered me how the previous one was too simple and boring, and i love how this one turned out. it's been a while since the last time i did some collage or scrapbook stuff, and it feels like getting something back, as silly as that may sound ✨

05.02.23 / utter chaos both on my desk and in my brain, but at least i'm trying. the pragmatics exam is in two days— i'm afraid that's not enough time but i'm going to work hard until then and hope for the best

06.11.22 / working on the introduction of a paper, feeling blue because i love this type of weather but it is extremely worrying to have it in november.

30.01.23 / i seriously lack focus today, i can't bring myself to study for the next exam (which is why the study pic is from when i was preparing for one of the past ones lol). any advice for recovering from severely unproductive days?

18.03.2022 / current read + a beautiful late winter bloom near my house. i've felt pretty much stuck since finishing my degree in december; i can't decide what to do next because i'm not sure of what i want. i wish i could just read forever, but apparently i must "find my way in life". ugh.

i can't believe i didn't take any pics on my walk around venice this morning. i roamed around for several hours, basically jumping from one bookshop to another, digging through piles of secondhand books. as you can see, i was able to show some self control and only bought two books!

in other news, my masters program started this week! it's mostly been introductory lectures so far, so we're not really in it yet, but next week more courses are going to be added to my schedule. everything is very new and a little scary, but mostly exciting ✨
