Day 011 — Jenkins And His Little Ninjas . . . Project 365: The Road to 40 . Wednesday, March 28, 2018 — (011/365) . Meet my client (and now good friend), @cjenkinsrun. Chris Jenkins is an American Ninja Warrior Season 10 hopeful and an all-around awesome dude. . I met Chris while photographing a commercial photo shoot for @anytimefitnesssandbridge in Virginia Beach in November of 2017. The owner, Kay, had brought him and other members in for that shoot. Off the strength of the fun they had and the enthusiasm I displayed (their words, not mine), Kay and Chris asked me if I’d be interested in producing his ANW audition video because the original person they had hired had not panned out. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want to put another person’s hopes and dreams on my unproven professional videography talent (I previously had just messed around at home putting together decent short videos of my family). But, they believed in me, so I believed in me, and the end result was exactly what we all wanted! I now have a professional video credit under my belt that I’m proud of and Chris has a solid first ANW audition video in the hands of the ANW producers. . We won’t find out for another couple of weeks whether or not Chris will “get the call” for the chance to run in our regional qualifier in Philadelphia. We’re both excited and nervous. Fingers crossed. . No matter what happens, I’m very grateful that I can call Chris a friend. During the audition video production, we interacted as if we had already been friends for years. In these short four months — including our #journeytoPHX — Chris and I discovered that we share the same ideas regarding life, family, work, fitness, and motivating others.
