They were in the same boat; feeling lonely and on edge thanks to the lack of familiar faces. For Sanji, it was twice as unnerving knowing he was no longer home. Altissia felt like words away now that he was being hugged by the darkness — there, the lights from street lamps and little lanterns would bounce and dance off the surface of the canals like diamonds on black velvet, and the scent of rushing water would mingle with cooking food and flowers. It had atmosphere, personality, life.
This was bleak nothingness, and he wanted nothing more than to return to Accordo.
Sadly, it would be at least another day or two before he was given the chance. Boats were refusing to travel between nations, meaning he was trapped here for the time being. Here meaning a desolate camp in the middle of nowhere. How he wound up hunkering down with a bespectacled stranger was a mystery to him, but some company was better than none in a place he knew nothing about, even if he knew nothing about the man.
“You mean gather wood? Yeah, sounds like a good idea. Can’t have a fire without it.” Sanji turned his head and blinked away the stinging in his eyes when a white light appeared in front of him. “Gonna be a pain in the ass, though... Please, tell me you can at least defend yourself. I’m not here to babysit.”

Around a heaping mouthful of food, Anita managed to speak to the man sitting beside her. Her empty fork jabbed at the air around his open notebook, prongs almost hitting the pen he used. He had been scribbling for as long as she had been sitting there, which wasn’t long considering she had plopped herself down on a stool only a few minutes ago. “What’cha writin’...? You keepin’ a diary, Four-Eyes?”
She tried to lean in and sneak a peek, not caring that she was invading his personal space.
“give it a rest. i said i’ll fix my shirt later.” @anxlyticum

— ☩ “Contained?! But the only tangible part of magic is the reaction! This...this cannot be the essence of it, there is no possibility...” But it feels too familiar, too much like the mana that surged through his veins. It was undoubtedly true, and the man simply had no reason to lie to him, but his denial pressed on and clouded his vision. To think that a substance as powerful as that could be materialized...he felt a shudder travel along his spine at the thoughts—how were they extracted and what were they used for?
Ingus eyed the flask as if it grew another head, eyes raising in defeat to meet with the other’s. “How did this come to be?”
Sunset Waltz [Chapter 2.1: The Journey Continues ~ Eos Branch]
-Water. Our wayward traveler felt it all around her, to the point when it felt like it had entered her very soul. Why was it always water?-
-What actually rose Terra from slumber/unconsciousness was the pendant around her neck. It had bumped into her nose a few times, then her lips, a touch that wouldn’t wake someone up unless they were a light sleeper to begin with. Her eyelids fluttered open as she turned around to get up---only to find now she was floating on her back.-
Why is it always water?
-Her eye began to adjust to the light, which immediately proved that she was no longer on her own world. The horizon was blue, a color she missed, but remembered all too well. The air was clean, with a hint of some vapor that Terra’s nose did not recognize. The question now was: how dangerous was this place? Terra’s next step was to see if she could touch bedrock, and so, after twenty seconds of struggling she finally did.-
Where...am I?
-Looking around, Terra began to wring out her cape from excess water, then moved closer to the shore. A forest canopy seemed to wait for her just beyond, so once the water had reached ankle level, she continued to wring her cape out. Afterwards, she would attempt to build a fire, or warm herself up with her own magic.-
“Blood? Are you bleeding?”
She pressed a hand to the wound and was dismayed when it came away red and sticky.
“Perhaps...a bit. Only a little; I’m fine, it’s fine...”
She tried to get to her feet but her legs didn’t want to cooperate.
