Okay so I just wanna share these 2 silly/dumb theories I had while playing the game and didn't know the full story, cause looking back on them I'm like ??? Wtf was I thinking.

So the first time I saw the ATP, from the ash twin projection stone with the glowy masks and stuff. I thought that, stay with me here, these were somehow... trapped Nomai? Or like, their consciousnesses or something. I was like oh my god there's a few still alive and they're trapped in this freaky dark place and I have to save them?!! Looking back now I'm like...How was that the first conclusion I came to there 💀

Also, the first time I saw a projection stone, I thought it said PROTECTION stone, and ig that stuck with me. So for awhile I thought I had to like, collect them all and somehow use them to protect the planets from the nova LMAO. I thought that's what the warp towers would be used for, being able to quickly gather and activate them or something.

I'm sure I had more, but those are the two that stuck with me just cause of how wildly wrong they were lol.

I can kinda see where the trapped nomai theory comes from, it's a reasonable guess based on the little info you have in the beginning!

really the only reason I hc Carlos having magic is because of the fact that he made an antenna, with the sole purpose of pirating more channels from the mainland but it had unintended effects i.e. puncturing a hole in the barrier... at least in the novels.

That's understandable actually, and mood from Carlos, accidentally punching a hole in the Barrier to get better TV.

I interpreted that as the Barrier being meshed with both magic and technology, what with the remotes too.

And I spent way too much time overthinking how the Barrier works.
