Ive had a medical prescription for a mobility aid for WEEKS AND WEEKS but everytime i ask the paper to my father so i can get it a the local pharmacy he's like "are you sure you need it? are you sure? are you sure?" my general consensus and conclusion is that the rpc as a whole could heal with more wlw ships. and that being said, I have four ladies you know. Like I’m just saying. They would be the ultimate femmes …and then irimë who would put anyone’s back out tbh. Didn’t swear the oath but she’s still fire.
. . . . . ╰──╮ THE FIRST MAN, ELEVATED TO THE CHOIR OF ARCHANGELS THROUGH DIVINE ORDAINMENT upon his death for his service to the Lord & role in the kingdom of heaven's plans, as the progenitor of mankind. therefore, adam's presence amid the the hierarchy of heaven was rather an honorary one, and his archangel status a courtesy title. what does that entail?
ON KNIGHTHOOD & ROLE AS COMMANDER.
the nature of adam's human soul means he has a more primal, brutal disposition than the true. much as he parades himself a divine being, he was still once made of flesh and blood and bone, and he possessed all those urges that came with being a part of the material world, which was tainted with sin. after the loss of paradise, he had to learn to kill, and hunt, and become top of the food chain on earth. he's not innately pure &. divinely cold like the other angels. he's violent, and brutal, and has a primal need to indulge in all that violence he learnt.
this proved detrimental to his initial stay in heaven ; coupled with that, he had too much of a vendetta against lucifer ( &. the realm of hell ) to merely lounge around and enjoy heaven, which necessitated some of that energy diverted elsewhere.
he was trained &. knighted by st. michael. in any case, he was made a knight of heaven & called upon by mortals for centuries to aid their spirits in battle, in the name of the lord.
he was entrusted with and made commander of the exorcist legions sometime after his knighting ceremony, upon his proposal to initiate the first crusades against hell, in response to attempts of rebellion amid the ranks of hell. these crusades, as i've mentioned before, were more akin to executions of specific sinners and hell nobles, to set an example.
in his capacity as commander of the exorcists, he attends conferences with heaven's high commands and holds considerable sway within the hierarchal structure ; a lot of the high-ranking angels dislike him, but given his position &. control over heaven's most brutal division, they tolerate him to keep the peace. he ABUSES THE FUCK out of this privilege 😇
ON THE EXORCIST LEGIONS.
* ⁽ PLEASE NOTE THAT this section pertains solely to my own worldbuilding and is by no means a necessary aspect to be regarded in actual writing, given that i am taking huge creative liberties in opposition to what had been portrayed canonically. i'm down for adapting to my mutuals' interpretations or affiliating canons or whatever else.
the exorcist army is made up of multiple legions, divided into maniples. i won't give precise numbers, given this is subject to change, though overall, it is not an incredibly large force, but what they lack in number, they make up with elite training and a vicious drive.
adam oversees the training of the exorcists personally, although he is not, nor ever was, responsible for their appointment. that does not fall within his jurisdiction.
their formation is reminiscent of a number of myths: the holy crusaders, and the classical angelic armies portrayed in, e.g. paradise lost. although that said, they are more brutal and vicious than the regular angelic armies, equipped with armour and weaponry that would traditionally not be utilised in heaven.
ON STRENGTH, WEAPONRY & FIGHTING STYLE.
adam favours blades, primarily swords, given he was michael's knight and taught swordcraft by him. his holy sword is made of angelic steel and greatly resembles the style of an arming sword.
he also possesses great aim, though utilizes it rarely. whilst he does, on occasion, rely upon divine blasts and his angelic power, he much prefers to get his hands dirty and fight his opponents 1v1, steel on steel.
his armour is also wrought of angelic steel, making it impervious to most forms of attack.
at 244 cm and 170 kg ( 8 f / 374 lbs ) this man is a beast. aside from angelic power, he is incredibly physically capable, although he still favours a more refined fighting style and doesn't usually resort to such brutality. he IS an angel, not one of those filthy hellspawns ;) ... unless you piss him off.
his wings are strong, too, but a noticeable weakness given their relative frailty and lack of armour protecting them. due to his proportions, he's not as quick in the air as his smaller exorcists.
