Thanks for nothing Apple and Tumblr
Thanks to Apple no longer updating my iPad 2′s OS, I cannot update to iOS 10.
Which means that I can no longer use Tumblr on said iPad 2 which is where I viewed and used Tumblr 90% of the time. Tumblr lets me install the old version on my iPad but it no longer lets me log in. Says, “Cannot find User Info” even after re-installing. Bugger both Apple and Tumblr

Trying to fix an #AppleID account no longer works. It’s been over a month n I just get the run around.
I already went to the #AppleStore. They couldn’t fix it either. They told me to try again the next day, n that I would get an email. The email I got was no such thing, just: how was your service?
When I was at the #Apple store, they put me on the phone n that person said I would get an email the next day to unlock the account so the password can be reset.
But as u can see it’s an exercise in futility.
The email was on Wednesday. It’s Saturday afternoon.
Eveytime I try to reset the password or unlock it, nothing works n I have to wait ANOTHER DAY!
That means the system DOES NOT WORK!
I’ve had this account since 2004. GWB was president at the time.
So, here’s a sample of the hoops I jump through to get nowhere:
Oh, look at that! It’s locked! AGAIN!!!
So, I used THE RIGHT PASSWORD! I KNOW I DID! It’s the right one! Why u know let me in?
OK let’s unlock this thing!
What? I’m timed out? What for?
All I did was what u told me to do!
Attempting to unlock again....
OK. Use 📱 phone....
It’s not working!
It never works!
Then Apple tells u to use the iforgot.apple.com which also doesn’t work.
If u forgot ur password (which I didn’t) then how do you reset a password without a password?
If u reset a password w ur phone number then shouldn’t the phone number be the password?
If u reset the password w the phone number then why do u need the old password if u forgot the password?
Also, why won’t my password work???
It’s the right password.
And why do I get punished everyday single day for another day just for logging in, when u won’t even let me in?
This is SOOOO RIDICULOUS! I want to go back to Android!

With the way the world is today, producing countless iPhone only to ditch them 2 years later is a waste. Plus when has Apple really given us what we want in a phone. Not since Jobs died for sure. Come on Apple time to step up and recognise your loyal customer whom can’t even afford some of your products now that they are so dear. Coming from a company profiting millions.
