genuinely can’t believe i’ll be going to uni here in september !!

Terrific day of subject talks, university tours and interviews in the Fine Art department. Good fun in the half hour creative workshop with the Fine Art applicants - responding to the day’s newspaper stories. Here are a series of willow and wire responses addressing amongst other things - climate change, Brexit, Taylor Swift and the Australian Bush Fires.

Above: Yesterday saw our annual Applicants Day where students who have been offered a place starting this coming September join us for a day of talks and a chance to meet current students. As always it was a great day with Photographer/Film Director David Eustace joining us for an inspirational talk via Skype from New York and all of our students exhibiting their personal work. 

This year we were delighted to welcome Shadowplay, a creative studio specialising in advertising photography, film and CGI production company based in Cheltenham http://shadowplay.co.uk as a sponsor of the Personal Work Show. 

Shadowplay set a brief for the students and kindly donated prizes for each category; still life, conceptual, portrait, series and moving image. They also presented an iPad to the overall winner. It was great to work with them and have their input into the judging and we look forward to developing our relationship with them over the coming years.
