Natively known as Bklsh QCQ Bkstl /ʘklʃ !|! ʘkstl/ "People of Mwkstl", the Mwkslians are from an axially locked planet containing a singular continent. The planet has a singular moon whose orbit matches Mwksl in just a way that it is never seen from land.
The Mwkstlian people lack vocal cords so their native language doesn’t have vowels and they have to use their throat muscles to approximate languages that do have vowels, making them all have raspy voices. Their language, natively known as Bkskl QCQ Bkstl /ʘkskl !|! ʘkstl/ "Language of Mwkstl", is the official global language spoken throughout Mwkstl. All other languages on the planet are endangered.
Mwkstlians are hermaphroditic. Their courtship ritual traditionally involves an individual presenting a mucus ball of their sperm to another by laying it in front of them and waving their arms around. If they accept the mucus ball they’ll squat and put it in their cloaca. If they reject the mucus ball they’ll stomp on and hiss at bachelor until they leave. The gestation period of Mwkstlians lasts 24 Qkstl days before they lay a tens of dozen of eggs into a body of water. Said eggs will hatch in 100 Qkstl days, after which the fries will be protected by a pool-guardian who’ll prevent predators from eating them. The pool-guardian is responsible for raising the fries and providing for them until they’re 12 Qkstl years. It’s common amongst royalty and nobility to arrange who’ll be their mating partner and work with their pool-guardians in raising their fries.

Two pictures of Mwkstlians.
The first picture depicts a couple, one of which is a musician and the other a royal guard. Mwkstlian musicians often wear collars to reflect the profession’s history as a “slave job”. Some off duty royal guards and war veterans wears a shoulder pad of fur on their left side to reflect their loyalty to the crown.
The second picture depicts a wealthy individual enjoying television and sweets imported from off planet. The elongated length of their head indicative of head bounding, done amongst nobility to have a head that’s inconvenient for any kind of physical labor. A side effect of head bounding is decreased sized and vision loss in their back-facing eyes.
