Aran Jumpers I finished a few months ago!

Delighted to see Nicola in this costum cream toned knitted dress last night, for opening night for Playboy of the western world. Them cream color dosen’t wash her out as she has warm/light undertones to her skin. To see white tights for a change ❤️ This look is probably one of my favourite looks on her. The knitted mini dress has a voluminous skirt & very intricate stitch detailing. It’s just amazing work&detail.

Happy she is working with Irish Colin Burke on this piece. Who is also from Galway. His hand made garments can take from 40-50 hours to complete, there are no machines are used to create his garments. Because these pieces are so labor-intensive, many are made to order or bespoke, they require a production time of 5 to 6 weeks. Cool how his is taking the old style Irish knitwear Aran jumpers/knitwear and modernising them.
