What a Day

Today we had our last revision of our studio projects untill exam date and it was absolutely devastating. They disapproved some project choises to everyone, they thought to change the layout of a technical board at the last minute AND to complicate things some people of my group (of which I'm the leader) don't want to follow the established layout or my directives

Sisi Talks #1: May 7th 2020

Hello friends,

Just like most of you, the past two months have been really tough for me. As you may know, if you have been following me for some time, I am a first year architecture student and a single mom of a 2 year old. 

Earlier in the month, we broke my computer (she sat on it, so the screen is fucked, even though the computer still works fine), I got one lent from school, but this also means I can’t play the sims, for the time being. I was lucky enough not to be financially affected by the crisis, so I bought a new one but since everyody is shopping online, it will take a while before I get it. 

Finals are in full force, I even had to abandon a class because I couldn’t keep up on all 5 of my classes at the same time. In 9 days I finish my first year, and my brain is getting drained. Between caring for my baby all day, with little to no knowledge on anything about dealing with a toddler, (no tips please, nothing annoys me more than people trying to help, especially in a situation like this, all kids are different, let me deal with mine), I still have final “papers” to do on AutoCad, one that is just never fucking clear (you know, that teacher that says stuff without explaining much), one that takes a lifetime but is very well explained (god bless this teacher, she is golden) and a creative one I just have to finish up on powerpoint and make all cute. Tonight I was supposed to finish a plan with details of a staircase, which is mostly done, but I had to ask for an extension (which most teachers are very happy to give us). 

The rest might be very touchy to some, because queer ranting and I know little to nothing about anything in the community except I am a part of it, so might be offesive to some, not meant as though

I started listening to Trixie Mattel, and watching the seasons she participated in, in Ru Paul’s Drag Race. FYI; I am bisexual, and let’S just say I am living my queer fantasy and I am very in tune with my gaynes, if I shall say so. Seeing men playing with feminity so much somehow makes me more comfortable in my own. Litterally last year, I thought that I couldn’t go to a sephora, I was like, too “manly” to do so. I know, that to some of you it might sound dumb, but to me it’s a reality. I feel like I’ve never really payed attention to my own feminity, it has always made me somehow uncomfortable. Like, I dress like a girl, but you will probably never see me act like any girl in social media. I can’t deal with taking pictures of myself, I can’t.

I know nothing about drag okay, except that very fucking basically put it’s men performing dressed as women. Some even do fashion and other things that are not stage related. But for myself, if what it takes for me to accept me is to wear shit ton of makeup and put on a wig just to freaking finally accept that I am a beautiful queer woman, well go on. I don’t know enough about drag to say if that is drag. Legit, when I wear pink or like frilly cutie clothes, I feel like a guy playing dress up (she says being a girl, I know, but you know what I mean). The “I am not like the other girls” meme is annoying, but damn, I am not a girly girl. Feminine, sure, frick I am a woman, but I thought I wasn’t allowed to be a girl. Even though, I am a girl.

I know it’s the goal that these men look like more of a woman then any of us, but god damn, I want some of that.

I know, heavy talk tonight, but that’s how I am doing tonight. 

A freaking out queer student and single mom in finals week, during a fucking pandemic, finally getting to know the community she is a part of and going crazy about gender. I am doing great though.

I lost my autocad files... Realized it last night,

but I now have to finish everything for tomorrow, noon.

School was closed, so I couldn’t go to school to use the interface I know to finish things up, with a little bit of advance, but now, I gotta rush it like crazy.

also I would then probably have to set my studio design project there which... would not work out well
