Haleigh & Carlito

A/N: Just something cute for @kayah16

Haleigh moved around Ardian's bedroom, straightening what he and Carlito had messed up the last few days. She had been out of town for interviews leaving them by themselves which clearly wasn't a good idea. Carlito laid on Ardian's bed playing on her phone.

"Say cheese, Ms. Hae."

Haleigh turned to smile at him. "You taking pictures of me, Bug?"

"Uhuh for Mr. Ardi. Him say you pwetty."

"You sure he said pretty and not ugly?" Haleigh asked laughing.

"I sure. He say ugly is a bad word."

"Did he now," She asked fixing the jewelry on one of his dressers.

"Yes ma'am. You ca' come sit down?"

Haleigh finished what she was doing then went to sit on the bed with Carlito. She pulled him up beside her so they could take pictures together to send to Ardian.

"I lub you, Ms. Hae."

"Awwwe, I love you too, Lito. You think you ready to go home?"

"Nope," Carlito said shaking his head. "Me stay here."

"But mommy misses you."

"She ca' come over," he questioned moving to her lap.

"Ummm, I don't know but we'll see. Is that okay?"

Carlito hummed as he played in Haleigh’s hair. He liked the different colors she had unlike Ardian.

"When Mr. Ardi gets back we should make him take us to feed the ducks. You think so?"

Carlito shrugged. "Neber did that. It scary?"

"No, it's fun," Haleigh laughed, "If we get scared though, Mr. Ardi will protect us."

Carlito jumped and flexed his little muscles and attempted to growled. "Cause him strong like this."

Haleigh laughed and pulled him bad into her lap making him giggle.

"Let's call Mr. Ardi and see what he doing. Hopefully he's out of his audition."

"We pull up?" He asked as she called Ardian's phone.

"No," she laughed, "He's in California."

"Cawiforna?"

"Yeah. You wanna go?" She asked.
