The Disaster Artist is surprisingly funny, inspirational and deeply humorous. This film is based on a true story about the worst film ever made “The Room” by Tommy Wiseau. In reality this a film about the making of another film, and it is freaking hilarious. James Franco does an magnificent job portraying Tommy Wiseau, from his acting, his voice, makeup, the whole thing! He embodies this character like I have never seen him before in other roles, acting chops are phenomenal, it would be a shame if this movie or him wouldn’t get nominated, just the perfect casting. James Franco directed this film as well, he captures the struggle of Tommy’s big dream of making as an actor or director in Hollywood, and after all he did made his movie and achieved his dream, which I think that was the most important story about this film. Definitely best comedy of the year, it is Oscar-worthy of a nomination, a great adaption of the book, and such an fantastic cast. I really felt in love with this movie, so many comedy elements you just have to laugh it out loud non-stop. My rating for this film is 8.5/10 a must watch, entertained film, a greatness of a film.
