out of everyone, the rest of 5wirl aren’t surprised that aether has an s/o
honestly the first time you meet them all aether’s already been talking about you for weeks ahead but just didn’t want the guys to scare you off and he didn’t want to introduce you until he was sure you’re the one
and after months of long distance and a bit of traveling with him to film stuff for his channel he’s very confident you’re the one
i think he waits like a solid 5 months before introducing you officially
he introduces you to them by preparing a big meal at the 5wirl house and sitting down for an informal dinner, 100% introduces you to them before introducing you onto his channel as his s/o
it’s a bit intimidating since the rest of 5wirl is protective of aether but as soon as heizou gives his approval everyone fully relaxes
it’s like, they’re obviously polite and friendly because they don’t want to make aether upset or anything but xiao doesn’t make an effort to strike up conversation and heizou is asking just a bit too many questions
venti is just vibing though cause he’s got more confidence in aether’s ability to read people and make the right call, while kazuha is just striking up conversation about your travels with aether
they’re all texting under the table in a gc before heizou makes his verdict and after that xiao starts to make a little bit of an effort to appear nicer and be more friendly

kazuha just herds y’all into the living room and is just patiently waiting for xiao to say something

“Are you cold?” Kon asked. Not like he really needed to considering both his boyfriends were curled up under a blanket and still shivering, but he thought the sentiment might be nice.
“Very,” Bernard replied. “We really need to replace this heater.”
Tim nodded. “I already called someone, but they won’t be here until tomorrow morning.”
Kon was perfectly alright with that. First of all, the cold didn’t affect him much, and second—
“Sounds like a good excuse to cuddle. I’ve been told I’m like a walking furnace, y’know.”
Two pairs of eyes lit up at that. Cute, very very cute. Tim lifted the blanket as Bernard waved him over.
“Get your ass over here, then,” Tim said with a smile.
Kon chuckled lightly. “Now that I can do.”
He was quick to hop under the blankets and crawl his way to the center. Immediately, his boyfriends curled around him and sighed in relief. He was quick to wrap his arms them and hold them closer.
“I always forget how warm you are,” Tim said. “Thank god for Kryponian biology.”

“No, he’s right,” Tim said. “It’s way too cold for you to go out right now. And anyway, I’m 90% sure that if I open this door right now it’ll be completely snowed shut. Why don’t you spare me the effort and just stay for today?”
Bernard sighed. “I have things to do.”
“Uh huh. Your classes are cancelled—if not then online—today, and I’m pretty sure you’re not working right now. So. What’s so urgent you can’t spend a day in with your boyfriends. We barely see you these days.”
“I have to go to the library! Research! I have finals coming up, and—”
Kon shushed him with a finger to his lips. “And nothing. You do realize Tim can access like, any file or book you request, right? Hell, I’m sure he could hack his way past paywalls in his sleep. Everything you could need is right here. You need a chance to rest, Bern. Just chill with us for today.”
