I realized that I don't think I've ever talked about this here.
Did you know about... Arknights no Susume?
This regular online show demonstrates parts of the game for beginners along with new modes, and is hosted by Midorikawa Hikaru and Kobayashi Yusuke, the Japanese VAs for Gnosis (+THRM-EX) and Lumen, respectively!
Here's a recap of the first episode. Unfortunately, yes, due to its nature it is in Japanese.
Midorikawa played the game even before he was hired to voice THRM-EX, and he was initially stoked but then bummed that THRM-EX explodes immediately upon hitting the battlefield, so he was happy when he was given Gnosis. He's apparently a big gamer and plays all the games with the characters he voices, and he also makes it a point to read all the stories where Gnosis is featured (though he and Kobayashi both admit the stories are long); he talked about it in the first episode, and posted on his blog both about BI and RS. (Can you believe he's 57, by the way?)
And of course... he has Silverash maxed.
Kobayashi Yusuke, on the other hand, played for some time but then took a break, but is (obviously) ready to come back. So Midorikawa is something of the senpai in this situation.
This is very cute because... well, imagine Gnosis and Lumen playing video games together. It's hilarious and adorable. There's been a few pieces of fanart from the show that I've seen, and people always draw Gnosis and Lumen in Midorikawa and Kobayashi's places, and it's incredibly cute:
(It's very cute how Midorikawa is often, if not always, wearing a beaded necklace like Gnosis's on the show; I think it's intentional.)
This from an episode they had KENN, Vigil's VA, as a guest, as is the one below.
Double posting the source in case it doesn't work properly.
This link is dead, but here it is anyway. The artist has moved much of their art to another site, which also features some Susume fanart, which you can find here.
Not gonna lie, I wish there was more because this is prime comedy material.
In conclusion, I'd like to leave you with this thought:
Gnosis the secret pro gamer and his stressed-out companion Lumen. What a team!
As all of Rhodes Island knows, Dr. Lundi is the heart of the party! She is the one who can down 13 drinks before her hands would become stable. Followed by Dr. Eve and Dr. Kryo, who hold their liquor only because it's 10% of their blood.
However, with indulgence on the occasion comes the necessity to care for the inebriated. For Dr. Lundi, drunk aftercare looks like this.
"RI13 is called 13 because that is where Doktor Lundi starts getting funny."
Comment made by Dr. Lundi immediately after she sobered up (20 mins and 1 glass of water later)

That being said, how are everybody's Furnaceside Fables going?
Oh, me?
I managed to beat Fremont after complaining about being bad at IS for anywhere between 4-8 business days after it released.
Then, as that was my first IS boss ever beaten, I went ahead and did the same with Phantom.
Long live W'alter.
However, Dr. Pinkie and Dr. Lundi had been having much more fun exploring different mechanics and learning how to achieve the most perfect scores through the funniest strategies.
One of them being,
Ulpian's dash counts as a redeploy and bypasses the Sarcophagus. Ergo, Fremont can't do anything about it, because Ulpian just redeploys himself real quick, and that mitigates the effect of the sarcophagus.
Some are just made with Skill enhancements, others are not.

FOR THIS POST, VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED FOR SPOILERS OF THE NEW EPISODE AIRED ON THE CHINESE SIDE OF THE WORLD A MONTH OR SO AGO.
AGAIN, SPOILERS, YOU CAN SKIP THIS ONE.
Since Rhodes Island 00/04/08/13 might have become out of commission, we Doctors have agreed that perhaps a logical next step would be to part ways so we can figure ourselves and the survivors out.
Dr. Kryo is picking up his remains and moving to Dublin, where he will receive support and aid from the new Queen. Getting distracted by The Unemployed while he is at it.
Dr. Pinkie got uploaded into the Cloud, so she's sleeping for a bit. It is okay, though, she is immortal and will be back after a short break.
Dr. Eve is going to move to Leithanien.
And Dr. Lundi gets to follow the story into Laterano, where she will do what she does best.
Hey, how did you sneak a Sarkaz into Laterano...?
---
Forgot to mention, because of course I would, but I have been working on another fanfic inspired by Dr. Lundi and her forlorn soggy horse companion.
Unfortunately, with my exams around the corner, I haven't had much time to update, and she's getting desperate watching me doing incredibly important enrichment instead of slaving to the keyboard again.
---
Setting two same images side-to-side.
---
Kurantas has a significantly higher implementation rate than Sarkaz.

The average height needed to hold onto those things, just barely, is 162cm. People who are shorter and would never reach:
- Fartooth
- Blue Poison
- Dr. Eve
- Mon3tr
- Nymph
And, of course, Dr. Kryo is always here to help get to those pesky hard-to-reach spots.

If any dedicated viewers of LUNDInium Outskirts have ever come across the story about the snack drawers some time back, I need you to understand that Dr. Lundi was not allowed to know about it. She is the 'Treat?!' 'No treat!' meme personified.
Dr. Kryo was nice enough to store snacks for all of us in that drawer, so he could pull one or two out whenever we did a good job. That's at least, how I got Pavlov dogged into guiding in previous events.
He would keep vanilla pudding in there for me.
And...
Well.
Dr. Lundi found out.
---
Dr. Eve is sometimes her own worst enemy.
This is why I love Sunday HSR.
---
Being an artisan of guns and the only one allowed to actually own them, and the one who knows how to use them... She has boldly been allowed to upgrade into something that damages not just RI13's funding.
Through means necessary or not.
---
The previous post has given us all many questions, though. Fortunately, there are always even more answers to be had on the discussion table.
---
Dear Diary,
Dr. Lundi was so nice to me today. Despite exploding Dr. Kryo's beautiful snack drawer, she has apologised and has offered to tickle my gambling addiction to figure out what sort of snack I will get.
Here is what I picked-
Dear Diary,
She is not going to see a single new chapter for the Historical AU fic until her birthday.
---
Me: "Is there any context for why Surtr is grabbing Dr. Kryo?"
Dr. Lundi: "Kryo just asked for it."
Me, writing down: 'Participant's Badly Hidden Kink involved being manhandled by his wife.'
Dr. Kryo: "I got lost in a crowd and Surtr was trying to find me."
Me, erasing what I had written so far: "Oh."

How to understand women:
You can tell a lot from a woman's mood just by her hands.
For example,
If she is holding a gun, she is probably angry.
Dr. Lundi let me hold this one :D
---
But I can't hold that one :|

I was initially against this sort of behaviour. Yet seeing that all my husbands require eating salt, huffing paint and crunching on magnese, I think that a little horse powder for the horse girl can do her some good.
Ya know, the discussion about how "Suzudad's genes didn't even try" made me realize something...
The same can be said about Elizabeth Silverash (nee Caster/Walden). The snow leopard siblings 100% pulled their dad, not just once, but thrice. The odds of this are ridiculously improbable, particularly as you'd think the snow leopard genes would be more recessive to your basic commonplace Feline...
...unless there's some wild epigenetics in play and they took over because they're hardier against Kjerag's climate. Her Victorian genetics took one look at that snow and just hopped on the NopeTrain to ScrewThatVille. The kiddos need FLOOF to survive!
(Chances are good Elizabeth looked similar to Viscount Walden or Duke Caster herself, blonde with housecat-type features, perhaps those of a Maine Coon like Harold and not like a snow leopard, see below.)
Disclaimer: this is mostly a joke, I'm aware that this is probably because HG came up with the fact that their mother was Victorian after they had already finalized designs for all of them. Courier's second oprec also says that Enciodes is very like his mother, but it's more to do with his personality than his appearance.
Enciodes: The Court will be much more pissed about Rhine putting up labs on the mountains than if they ever discovered we used the Kjeragandr statue as a distraction.
Gnosis: I've read ten times more about the faith than you have. Trust me.
Meanwhile, Kjarr: I'm so excited for my new cannons! 🥰
Hypergryph announced the addition of a new faction with Retracing Our Steps: Kjerag, with Karlan Trade being adjusted to a sub-faction. This distinction is relevant for two reasons: Gnosis currently has a faction talent for Karlan Trade, while Silverash Alter has a faction talent for Kjerag. Right now, all Kjerag operators are grouped under Karlan Trade Co. regardless of whether or not it matches their lore.
I feel there are two options here.
Option 1: Gnosis gets his talent adjusted to Kjerag, and everybody gets his ATK buff and Status Resistance. (The reasonable option, especially since he's getting an IS module which will interact with his talents.)
Option 2: Gnosis does not get his talent adjusted, and only gives his buffs to his employees, everyone else can suck it. (The hilarious option.)
Which operators would not fall under Karlan Trade? Those would be Enya (finally, she no longer has to suffer being labeled a filthy Karlan Trade employee), Kjera, Ensia, and possibly Aurora (is sponsored by Karlan Trade, though considers herself a Rhodes employee), Steward (his skin lore has him working directly for Karlan Trade, but his faction is Rhodes, and his hidden faction is already Kjerag), and Snow Hunter (we don't know yet, but the fact that she's Ursus means she's likely a Paleroche and thus likely unaffiliated with the company).
Conclusion: in the case of option 2, Gnosis simply hates his in-laws, QED.
(Disclaimer: I am joking... Though it would still be funny if Gnosis continues to buff only Karlan Trade.)
