No one should have to detail the many cases of being sent to conversion therapy, or being beaten, or thrown out of their homes, or even being raped in order to prove that Ace and Aro people are oppressed.

No one should have to have a fucking queer history degree to prove that we have always existed and have always been a part of queer society.

And yes this fucking applies to cishet Aces/Aros too because Asexuality and Aromanticism are enough.

They are enough.

Are you looking for a non-gendered, queer-friendly, low-anxiety and just beautiful exploratory game?

Eastshade is the game for you!!

The premise is that you are a painter fullfilling your mother's last wishes by visiting and painting the island of Eastshade. As such you are prompted to find and paint her favourite places across Eastshade.

Along the way you make friends amongst the local populace, trade for useful items and craft-recipes and get involved in several schemes and intrigues.

The very cool thing about this first-person game is that the only information you give about yourself is your name - at no point are you gendered or forced to pick clothes or quests based on gender.

Nor do you have to act out any sexual or romantic attraction/preference. The one romance quest is about helping a woman ask out another woman. It's very sweet!

The game provides a warm, sweet, friendly atmosphere, so if you like me struggles with anxiety/emotional dysregulation, this is a very safe game to get into.

The game has a few bugs, but nothing that would make me hesitate to recommend it.

So this was me gushing a bit, hope you might find it as lovely as I did 💜

✨ the term "bi lesbian" is harmful to both lesbians and bisexual women's fights as lgbt ppl and "het lesbian" implies that lesbians are "frustrated" or will become straight someday ✨

(and it's also an oxymoron)

you can simply say that:

- you are a bi woman who prefers women

and if you are straight, don't say that you are lesbian, gay or bi because it's harmful!

NOTE: this post is only related to sexualities, not gender, and is also directed to trans and aro/ace people bc some of them use these terms! it means that trans and aro/ace people should not say they are lesbian/gay/bi unless they actually are!
