Correct me if I'm wrong but the Volturi fandom feels so SMALL on Tumblr 😭 Stop doubting, start writing and support the authors who write the masterpieces you are crazy about! Tumblr is pretty much anonymous so there is no need to hide 🫥
24yo brain check: currently hyper-fixated on writing a fic where a young woman visits the Volturi castle and accidentally bags the kings with her soft curves and jasmine scent.
Is the vision visioning or have I finally lost it? 🌲🥀🔮
Summary: After an affair with Caius goes to hell, you leave Volterra to try a new life on your own. Now you're back in town, and old demons are about to turn up.

_____
The following hour was a blur. You felt as if you were on autopilot. Never in a million years would you have ever expected Aro to kick you out. Caius hadn’t said it, but he clearly felt the same way.
You wanted to spiral. Aro hurt you. Your brother hurt you. He was the one man that you trusted blindly and he stabbed you in the back.
This had been a system that worked for thousands of years. Now you didn’t know what to do or what to expect.
We never planned for this.
Was the only thought that you could think over and over. There was no “contingency” plan for if everything fell apart.
When the two of you stopped walking, Caius pulled you into an alley. He checked your face, looking for any signs of damage. Caius hated seeing the fear and uncertainty in your eyes. If he had to spend the rest of eternity making sure you never had any look in your eyes he would.
“Are you okay?”
You only nodded as Caius pulled your body back against his. He wanted to spend more time comforting you but there wasn't time. The two of you needed to leave Volterra as quickly as possible. Lingering about was putting both of you in danger.
Would Aro hurt either of you? Caius wasn’t sure. He never expected to be kicked out…especially over falling in love with you.
“We have to get out of the city before Demetri finds us. I know you have your shields up but it doesn’t matter.”
You didn’t reply for a moment or move.
“He hit you.”
You managed to get out. Caius stopped and pulled you into a kiss. As much as he wanted to tell you to get it together, he couldn’t. This was as traumatic for you as it was him…maybe if not a little more. Caius had to keep reminding himself that your own brother turned on you.
“He’s going to need to hit me a lot harder than that to cause damage. Y/n, I need you to focus. We are going to be just fine. Can you believe me?”
You only nodded as Caius reached down for your hand once again.
“Okay, let’s get out of here”
Caius replied, glancing over his shoulder. Would Demetri be out looking for the two of you? He wasn’t sure but wasn’t about to risk it. Caius didn’t know whose loyalty lay to whom anymore. Would everyone in Volterra be strictly with Aro or would they still see him as a king too? Either way, Caius wasn’t about to stick around and find out.
Glancing over your shoulder, you mentally said goodbye to the kingdom that had been your home for so long. Never did you expect to leave Volterra, yet here you were.
This kingdom, Good riddance, Her freedom, And innocence, Has brought this whole thing down
(Meanwhile)
The castle was in an absolute uproar. Everyone seemed to be moving about like confused toddlers looking for a parent. Marcus’ eyes rolled over to Aro, who was standing with a hand over his mouth.
“What have you done, Aro?”
Aro didn’t speak as Felix turned to look at him.
“Sir, we need Caius.”
Renata had backed away from Aro with a wide-eyed expression. She needed you. Your shared power was what kept the kings safe. Also, after thousands of years together, you were like a right hand.
“Master, I need Y/n too…we depend on each other so…”
Aro looked around the room at his clearly stunned guard. Had he really just done this? Was Aro losing his mind?
Marcus spoke again. This time, only Aro could hear it.
“Felix is right. We need Caius.”
Marcus wanted to say more. He wanted to tell Aro that he was an absolute fool! Marcus did not doubt that both Caius and yourself could keep each other safe but your places were here…not out in the world alone.
Aro, coming down from his temper tantrum, began to realize the gravity of what he had done.
He threw you out. He threw his baby sister out like garbage…not to mention his best friend.
Aro was clearly moving on autopilot in a strange fashion that almost resembled a zombie.
“Demetri, go find them.”
Demetri nodded, thrilled to get the hell out of dodge. Felix turned back to Aro. He knew sending Demetri out was pointless. It didn’t matter how excellent of a tracker Demetri was, you would trick him up with ease.
“She’s going to have her shields up.”
Demetri gave Felix a glare that said “this bitch” before hurrying out of the room.
Marcus shook his head going to sit down. Once again, he had enough with everyone and everything. As much as he hated Caius at points, Marcus knew The Volturi needed him just as much as you were needed. How this would be resolved would be a mystery. Either way, the following days will be some of the most difficult that The Volturi have experienced in some time.
(Meanwhile)
You stood in a random hotel room in some small town that you had never heard of. You watched as Caius stood looking out the window into the night. Neither Caius nor yourself had formulated a plan on what to do next.
How could Aro do this to me?
That was the thought that kept running on repeat through your mind. Aro had never laid an unloving hand on you before. In fact, he had killed a few other vampires that tried to hurt you. Now, being on the other side of abuse, you didn’t know how to process everything. One moment you were angry and ready to fight him then the next you were back to being devastated. You understood him being upset at Caius for hurting you originally, but turning around and hurting you himself made no sense. If he had only listened, he would have learned that Caius was making things right.
sIs he angry that I fell in love?
If he was angry that you had chosen Caius for a lover that made no sense either. If anyone, Caius was the better choice for a mate. Aro knew everything about him!
“I think we shall be okay for the moment.”
Caius’ voice pulled you from your thoughts. He had turned in your direction and was kneeling in front of you. He reached up, cupping your cheek again
“I promise we will be fine. I made it a long time without Aro before so I am confident that I can make it again without him. I know he’s your brother but he won’t hurt you again. Next time I’ll kill him.”
“I still can’t believe he did it.”
You murmured. Caius nodded in agreement.
“Me either but whatever. It is what it is. We have each other and that’s all that matters now.”
Caius was relieved when you smiled. He had been afraid for a bit that you had been going into shock. Seeing your smile made him feel somewhat better.
“Now we get to play house on our own.”
You replied, reaching out to twirl your fingers in Caius’ hair.
“Play house, huh? I suppose we do. You’ve got me forever on my knees, darling.”
You bit your lip moving to lay back.
“Want to make me feel better?”
Caius waited a second before taking his place on top of you. He reached down, moving your thigh over his hip. His finger automatically began toying with the soft lace of your garter.
“Is that what you want?”
“I need you.”
You said in barely a whisper. You wanted nothing more than a chance for slow sweet lovemaking. When it came to Caius that normally wasn’t in his vocabulary but if you caught him at the right time, he could be the king of it.
Caius titled your face back to his, teasing your lips for a moment as his free hand managed to get your underwear down.
“Leave the dress on. It’s been teasing me since you put it on.”
Caius cupped your breasts, his free hand stroking over your now wet folds.
“Good girl.”
He murmured, finding your clit and setting up a steady circular rhythm. You immediately whimpered his name and lifted your hips. Anytime he called you “a good girl” you could have gone to pieces. The way his voice dropped to that perfect tone was like a vibrator on your clit.
“Easy, love.”
Caius kissed you once before moving away to get his pants down. You reached out to unbutton his shirt. When he finally did push in, you wanted to feel his skin on yours.
“Don’t tease, please. I’m still wet from earlier.”
You whimpered. Caius chuckled, pressing one finger inside of you for a brief moment.
“Even with all of that ridiculous shit, you’re still wet for me. I plan on keeping you wet for the rest of eternity.”
Caius was pleased when you moaned and rocked against his hand.
“Please…”
“Since you asked so nicely.”
You gasped as Caius pushed in. He didn’t give you a moment to adjust before setting up a steady rhythm.
“We are going to finish this then we are getting the hell out of dodge. Understand?”
You only nodded, unable to think about another other than how his cock was hitting your sweet spot. Moments like these made you thankful for being a vampire. If you were a mortal, between the angry fuck earlier and this, you probably wouldn’t be able to close your legs.
“Put your legs over my shoulders.”
Caius said, his voice straining. He reached down, putting your legs over his shoulders hitting deeper than before. The moment your pussy spasmed around him, Caius moaned.
“Do that again and I’m going to come.”
He said, through gritted teeth.
“As you wish, my love.”
You replied, purposely tightening once again. Freezing, Caius’ eyes widened before spilling into you.
“You little tease.”
He managed to get out, fucking you through his orgasm until you were coming apart too.
Caius was the first to pull away, patting your mound, earning another little whimper.
“Very. good girl. Now come on, we need to get out of here.”
You reached for your panties but stopped when Caius grabbed your wrist.
“Leave them off.”
“My thighs will get wet.”
You argued. Caius gave you a shrug and moved to the door.
“Remember who you belong to.”
You rolled your eyes before reaching up to the locket around your neck. Aro had given it to you years before. You quickly undid the locket and laid it on the bedside table. This would be a clue to Demetri whenever he did turn up but a perfect “fuck you” to Aro.
You met Caius’ gaze once again. His face had returned to his typical frown.
“His loss.”
He said, coldly. You only nodded before turning to leave the room without another word.
(Meanwhile)
Aro lay with his head on Sulpicia’s lap. His mind was a mixture of self-loathing and annoyance. Now that he had come down from his temper tantrum and reality had sunk in, he realized that he was fucked.
As Felix and Marcus pointed out, Aro knew that he needed Caius as much as he needed you.
“What if Demetri can’t find her?”
Sulpicia asked, finally. Aro groaned.
“Demetri is good. Y/n will let her guard down soon and he will be able to find her.”
Sulpicia was silent a moment longer before speaking.
“Aro, you do realize that Caius is going to be furious right? What if he doesn’t want to come back?”
Aro sat up with a frown.
“I’ll have to con him into come back. Maybe I can talk to Y/n and she can use his love for her to my advantage.”
“I still don’t understand why you were so upset over Y/n being in love with Caius. Yes, he can be difficult but he’s a good match for Y/n. He will be able to keep her safe. He loves her…even if the stubborn ass is too afraid to admit it.”
Aro frowned, his red eyes rolled to meet his wife’s.
“He loves her?”
Sulpicia nodded with a tired sigh.
“I can see it in his eyes. He has never cared about anyone like he has Y/n.”
A knock on the door interrupted the conversation. Aro sighed, sitting up.
“Come in.”
He said, feeling even more exhausted than ever. Maybe everyone was right? Maybe Aro needed to ease up and let you love your life?
Demetri stepped in. He gave Aro a nod.
“Did you find them?”
Aro questioned, seeming hopeful. Demetri shook his head. He didn’t like coming up empty-handed. Today, he didn’t have a choice.
“No, sir. I’m sorry. I did find this in a hotel room a few towns over.”
Demetri placed your locket in Aro’s outstretched hand. He decided not to tell Aro about the destroyed bed. Aro could deal without that information.
Aro stared at the locket with hurt eyes. Was this your goodbye?
(Meanwhile)
You may against Caius’ chest in another hotel room. It had been several weeks since the two of you had left Volterra and was making no plans on going back. Now the two of you were out of Italy all together.
“Do you think they have realized we are totally gone?”
You asked, stroking a finger over one of the scars on his chest. Caius had been staring at the ceiling for sometime trying to consider what the next move would be.
“Demetri is probably very frustrated with himself.”
Caius commented. You wiggled your way back on top of him. Caius groaned as your ass wiggled in just the right way.
“We are going to have to get up sometime.”
You leaned down and kissed him softly.
“Who says? We can do whatever we want.”
Caius reached up, pulling you back down against his side.
“Impatient little angel.”
Your eyes widened when he said that. That was the pet name he called you from the beginning. From the time that he had been nearly killed by werewolves, he had called you his personal little angel.
The name had stopped once the affair started going. Once Caius realized that he had you, being his angel stopped.
Sitting up, you moved to the edge of the bed. You weren’t sure why it suddenly affected you so much. Had you completely gotten over the rather difficult breakup? Maybe parts of you still hurt.
“You haven’t called me that in a long time.”
Caius frowned, automatically sitting up.
“What did I do now?”
You shook your head, realizing it was a stupid thing to get upset over. The past was the past and you needed to leave it there…yet you couldn’t.
Caius moved to pull your body back against his. His eyes were watching you with a hesitant judging expression.
“You still don’t trust me do you?”
“What if you find someone else?”
You finally asked. Caius titled your face back to his.
“I don’t want anyone else. I was a fool for denying what I felt for you as long as I did. It’s you and I forever….the way it should have been a long time ago.”
Caius was relieved when you took your place back against his chest. Wrapping his arms back around you, Caius was relieved that you seemed to accept what he said.
This was another sign that you were the one for him. Caius had never been romantic. Romance for Caius was mostly a quick fuck for him to get what he wanted then he was done. When you came along that all changed. All of a sudden making love and being romantic wasn’t such a bad thing after all. All you had to do was bat your eyes at him, and you could have whatever you wanted.
The moment realized that he was in love with you was still fresh in his mind…
Aro was throwing yet another one of his ridiculous balls (that no one liked). Caius had just gotten back on his feet after the werewolf incident. The last thing that he wanted was to be sociable but he also didn’t want to deal with Aro’s bitching. Between Aro and Athenadora badgering him over stupidity, it felt as if he had two wives (that he did not want).
Standing with Athenadora, Caius glanced around the room until his eyes fell on you. You stood beside Aro and Sulpicia listening to something Aro had to say. Caius couldn’t help but stare. You were absolutely breathtaking in that blasted red gown that would haunt his dreams. How it had taken Caius so long to see you was still a mystery.
When your eyes finally met his, you batted them a few times before turning back to Aro. You said something to your brother before looking back at Caius and leaving the room.
“Why don’t you just go shove your face in her tits?”
Athenadora said in a cold icy tone. Caius instantly became annoying. He and Athenadora had been unhappy for sometime. This was yet another example of Athenadora loving to annoy him until he was ready to choke her.
“What are you talking about?”
He snapped. Athenadora rolled her eyes.
“All you do is stare at her.”
“She’s Aro’s sister. I’m supposed to keep an eye on her.”
Athenadora scoffed.
“By sleeping with her?”
“For fucks sake, I’m not sleeping with her.”
Athenadora turned to walk off.
“Like I believe that.”
She replied, leaving without another word. Caius muttered a few four-letter words under his breath and went to follow you.
You stood on a balcony looking out into the darkness.
“It took you long enough.”
You commented before turning back to Caius. Glancing over his shoulder, he quickly shut the door before coming back to you.
“I have stupidly ignorant people to deal with.”
He replied. You only hummed in response before turning your back to him.
“Like your wife?”
Caius stepped behind you, tilting your head to the side. He slowly kissed down your neck.
“How about we not talk about her? You’re so beautiful, Y/n. This damned dress…you don’t know what you’re doing to me.”
You let Caius continue kissing your neck for a few moments.
“She knows something is going on between us, Caius. Athenadora is a lot of things but stupid isn’t one of them.”
Caius groaned, stopping his assault. He spun your body around, holding you closer to him.
“I said, stop talking about her. I’ll leave her soon enough and you’ll be my queen.”
“Don’t woo me with pretty words that you don’t mean.”
You said. Caius wrapped his hands around your upper arms, holding you backwards.
“I’m not wooing you with anything. I mean what I say. I’m in love with you, Y/n. I’m in love with everything about you. Don’t close me out, angel. You know that’s what you are right?”
You rolled your eyes and stood on your tiptoes to kiss him.
“You speak pretty words.”
“I’m not lying. Now, where were we?”
Caius asked, slipping a hand over your breast to your throat.
“You were about to take me to bed and show me how much you love me.”
You replied before Caius grabbed your hand and led the two of you out an opposite exit. Neither of you noticed Athenadora who had witnessed the whole exchange.
Your mouth closing on his neck pulled Caius from his thoughts. He reached up and pulled your body back down.
“We do need to get out of this room for a bit. There has to be some humans in town worth getting rid of.”
Caius said as you pulled away.
“I can pull a Heidi and con someone.”
Caius stood up, looking for his abandoned clothes.
“Heidi has nothing on your beauty.”
After getting out of the room, you stood obediently at Caius’ side. The two of you sat in the shadows scanning the crowd.
“Luckily, the people we feed off of won’t be missed.”
Caius commented, adjusting the sunglasses that hid his red eyes. He wouldn’t hear if wearing the contacts that you suggested.
“I can get anyone you want.”
You replied with a smirk.
“No flirting with them. The last thing I want to see is some idiot that is about to die flirting with you.”
You leaned up, kissing his cheek.
“The only person I flirt with is you. If you feel between my legs, it’s definitely only you.”
Caius shook his head, lowering a hand to slip up your skirt from behind.
“Keeping me in bed isn’t helping.”
You turned, wrapping your arms around his neck. Caius didn’t seem as tense with the PDA as he normally did.
“Little fucking tease…”
He said, leaning down for a kiss.
“Caius? Y/n?”
The two of you immediately separated to see Carlisle and Esme. Caius immediately tensed behind you. His dislike for Carlisle once again becoming evident
“We simply can’t escape you people, can we?”
Caius said, coldly. You reached behind you to wrap your hand around his wrist.
“Carlisle, nice to see you again.”
You replied, trying to sound pleasant. Carlisle nodded, politely.
“I heard about what happened…”
Carlisle started.
Caius shook his head. Of course, he heard about it. Why wouldn’t he?
“I see Aro is running his big mouth.”
Carlisle didn’t reply for a moment. When Aro turned up on doorstep asking if he had seen either of you, it was definitely a surprise.
“He seemed worried.”
Caius wrapped an arm around you protectively. Carlisle meanwhile, wasn’t surprised that you had needed up with Caius. He had seen the way the two of you looked at each other. It wasn’t a shock when Carlisle learned of the affair.
“You can tell Aro that I said to go fuck himself.”
“Caius…”
You said his name softly. Carlisle held a hand up.
“I’m not being a go between. I don’t know what happened between the lot of you but Aro wanted me to give this to you, Y/n.”
Carlisle handed you an envelope with Aro’s neat- -as-a pin writing.
“Y/n,
I don’t know where you are but I would like you to come home. We can’t work anything out if the two of you stay away. I’m sorry if you feel I hurt you. That was never my intention. You’re my little sister and I only want what is best for you. Please bring Caius and yourself home, so we can work this out like the family that we are.
Carlisle was left so exhausted after his crazy ex (Aro) that he literally went for the extreme opposite in his next relationship to cope with the mess that maniac left behind, but deep down Carlisle still misses that crazy bitch and keeps a portrait of the Volturi in his study
