his rather aloof disposition was likely going to pluck a few cords among those within the castle walls. for kamui, whether it was his interest in those around him & their history or simple troop support, it was of intrigue. a guise such as his rarely came about.

    ever since corrin had been allowed to leave      the northern fortress, leo and the others had      been assigned solo missions more often. it      wasn’t as if leo was complaining, per se, it      was just that something he’d observed. 

     leo, knowing corrin was still inexperienced      in the outside world, had told his retainers      to keep an eye on his sibling until he could      join their army properly. that being said, he      hadn’t expected to see niles from the corner      of his eyes whilst on his way back from a      skirmish.

     “niles,” leo called out, “did something happen?”
