Anthology Recordings is Mexican Summer’s reissue label.  “Sad About The Times” is a compilation of bands/music that was released but never heard.  This all tends to the 1970s AOR.  

This was compiled in part by Mikey Young (is there nothing that he doesn’t have his mitts in?).

I’m not going to list all the bands here.  Some highlights are Perth County Conspiracy, Art Lown, and Hoover.  But really, this is all outstanding.  The Carpenters, Nilsson, America and Emitt Rhodes would have fit nicely on this compilation - but they’re too well known.
