Alright! I got the dress right here. Maybe I can be a fairy too Princess, a fairy and a princess! I could have all the adventures I wanted at that point!

"That is something you will have to convince her of." I gaze away from you, sliding your hand in mine as I begin leading us outside.

As we walk I make sure to keep myself between you and any guards we come across. Though, they make no attempt to cause us trouble. In actuality, considering the current condition of the castle, the day feels light and the sun is actually shining through the windows. It casts warm rays upon us and I can even hear bird song calling from outside. We honestly could not have picked a better day for an outing and I find myself taking a deep relaxed breath, as we make our way out the front entrance.

From there, we take a sharp turn to the left where the path becomes choked by brush and weeds. The stonework beneath our feet is heavily covered with years of debris and dead leaves, showing how long it has been since a gardener has tended this area.

"It's not much further from here" I nod inward, as I stop holding open a wrought iron gate. "Remember to be respectful and I will be here should you need me."

“You will be pleased to know I have taken the time to attempt to relax, though that has brought on its own set of anxieties. But I suppose that is something I need to work on and added job security for you.” I chuckle. “Do not worry Muddleskrump your position is invaluable to the troops. I am sure you shall be a therapist for many years to come.”

Hytopia is a place where they consider fashion quite important, I imagine it has quite the silk industry and other fabrics. The people are Hylian. The Hero who solved the Lorulian crisis went there after his adventures and collected many outfits.

“I see…”

“Well it sounds familiar. Like a vacation spot described by many nobles. Though I am sure I would remember a province boarding my own country, there is a chance it exists here and I am merely unaware. Perhaps some of my old dresses are from there. Who knows. I am not exactly a princess who is well versed in fashion anyway. It has never been my thing really.”

“Still, that is an interesting fact that I had no idea about. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will have to see if Hytopia is on any of our old maps or manuscripts.”

The Sheikah in general are fairly pretty though, lithe, fair skinned, mysterious atmosphere. Typically pretty built from being a religious ninja assumingly assassinating people for the royal family and or whatever organization governs the faith in Hylia.

I almost chuckle at you description. “It sounds as if you are the one who has a type, dear stranger. You have obviously spent a great deal of time analyzing the Sheikah as a whole.”

Does Impa not have many knives or is this a special knife?

“No. She has plenty of weapons. Knives included. Though this is not an ordinary blade. I have infused it with the same power you can find in my light arrows. Believe me. She will find it most useful.”

. . . Princess, when I am finished with my fanfiction, would you care to be the first one to read it?

“I suppose there is no harm in giving it a look.”

“I am afraid there are too many heroes, and some I am not yet acquainted with, for me to know every single one by their era. I do know vaguely of the hero of Wind, but which are you referring to when you say Legends and Hyrule? If perhaps you gave me a little more to go on, I could answer this question a little better.”

Which of the heroes were your favorite?

"While each hero holds a special place in my heart, I would say the Hero of Time holds some of the greatest fondness. Though if I were to be honest, there is another hero who holds that position equally. At least I believe he is or was a hero. This may be hard to explain so I beg your patience.”

My chest expands, as I take in a deep breath, and I cross my arms across it.

“When I was first coming into my power, I would gain small bits of knowledge or memories that were not my own. It was a very confusing time in my childhood, but I was eventually assured that it was the powers of the goddess stirring within me and not just an over active imagination. It was from them that I gained a vague knowledge about divergent heroes from what I will essentially call the fallen timeline. This timeline is where Hyrule’s future splintered from the one I currently live in.”

“While I am sure there are endless paths branching from any point in our history, the one I speak of is from a time known as the Era of Light and Dark. The hero from this version of Hyrule was my first true memory gained of Link. It took a long time, and I still do not know his full story, but I hold him in the highest of regards. I do hope this made some sense, dear stranger.”
