6 months of drawing classes for college have really radicalized my stance of "there is no such thing as talent." In these 6 months I've seen the people who got into art school for photography/sculpting (who started not knowing how to hold the pen right and with insanely shaky lines) get into the same drawing level as the ones who went into art school for drawing or painting (who have for the most part been drawing for years). Like sure, the drawers are kinda noticeable, but currently it's mostly because we finish quicker than the non drawers. Our results are very similar. We get the same grades.

If you have a good teacher and practice, you will learn. It's not about talent, it's just dedication. Talent is fake, just learn the skills you want to learn. You'll be bad for a while and then you'll get better.
