Museo's Art's Cool

Museo Pambata opens summer "Art's Cool"Summer's hot but art is definitely cool in "Art's Cool," MuseoPambata's (MP) summer workshops program. The classes are designed toharness a child's potentials in the arts in an environment of fun anddiscovery uniquely provided by a children's interactive museum.Learn basic painting techniques from Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (AngInK)'s Hubert Fucio in the Basic Art and Painting workshop forchildren ages 4 to 7 years old.The Integrated Art and Painting class, open to children 8 to 12 yearsold, focuses on oil pastel and acrylic painting. Ang InK's ConradRaquel facilitates.The "Art and Scraps with Origami" workshop, to be facilitated by MP'sin-house art teacher, Curtiss Lim, is open to children ages 7 yearsold and above. The module includes making decorative art for gifts orgiveaways, and home and school accessories.Art and Painting classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday andFriday beginning April 2. Art and crafts workshops will be held everyTuesday, Thursday and Saturday beginning April 1. All classes havetwelve 2-hour sessions each.
