"I feel like unethical is hardly enough t'even cover the thought of doin' that to a person." Ashe sighed out as he poured himself another glass and took a slow sip of his whiskey. "Feels like some kind of terrible experiment that's guaranteed t'go wrong."

"Though, I wonder how unethical it is for me t'continue encouragin' him to try an' figure out the truth," Ashe admitted with a soft sigh as he closed his eyes to consider his actions. "Perhaps he'd be happier with his life remainin' as it is? Not questionin' if everythin' is fake."

"Max, thank you for comin' by. Here, follow me," Ashe greeted with a warm smile as he ushered Max toward a sitting room in the back of the store. It was set up specifically for moments like this, where Ashe had a private meeting he needed to attend to. He tapped the wall-- a silencing spell activated that kept any noise from leaving the room.

He sat on one of the two couches and motioned for Max to take a seat as well.

"I ran into another one of your kind-- a synthetic that acts and talks completely human,' Ashe started off with, watching Max's reaction curiously as he continued to speak. "He seemed... VERY in character. In fact I'd go so far t'wager that he eats and drinks-- is that normal for your model?" Ashe questioned with a rather dog-like curious tilt of his head.

"I just thought you might be interested in this. I'm not sure if it's Weyland keepin' an eye on us cause I smelled through--" motions to Max's everything, "--but it was an interestin' encounter to be sure."

"Are you in there?"

Wanda jumped at the sound of the voice on the other side of the door, her arms tightening their hold on her legs. She had been in the bathroom for a good 30 minutes or so, her mind racing as flashbacks came one right after the other. The sound of the bomb hitting her home, the bright flash and then darkness, the feeling of being trapped, watching the red light flicker on the unexploded bomb that had landed in their now destroyed living room. Max's voice had broken through only slightly, meaning she could hear him while trapped in the nightmare. Letting out a whimper, she then responded.

"It's going to go off... I can't move..."

"I'll be a shoulder to cry on, however literally you need."

"Thank you.." Wanda whispered, her head already resting on Max's shoulder. She had been struggling with her thoughts that day and so, his words had meant a great deal to her. More than he would ever know, she was sure of it. "Can you... can you stay just for a little bit? I don't really want to be alone," she added, "I understand if you have something you have to do though.."

"Oh, do not fret, Max," Sebastián offered as warmly as he could. "Any friend of Agus is a friend of mine... Although I am sure you two aren't exactly friends anymore."

It was said with grace, with some sense of complicity too. While Sebastián had absolutely no clue about this man's true identity, he knew enough from Agustín to offer the kindest welcome he could.

"Alas, you are more than welcome in my office. May I offer you some coffee?"
