Getting so nervous at the "emdashes = writen by ai" equivalence, cause I genuinely use emdashes semi-often because I have a tendency to interrupt a sentence with something that I think is relevant enough to mention but not irrelevant enough to put in parenthesis/brackets. Or I do a dramatic interruption of the sentence so the prose can correct itself on something since I write the prose in-character cause I hate writing in first person. I don't want to finally finish something and try to share it with the masses only to get yelled at for being "not real" because DUDE. I take a LONG TIME to do a lot of things, and I've found that writing takes me literal YEARS. Please, I promise I wrote that by hand, tears in my eyes because of how I write at a snail's pace, I'm just being dramatic BELIEVE ME--

The Short TOG Effect
I have noticed a phenomenon that memes and shitposts have depicted the TOG II* tank as extremely long so many times that when people (including me) look at an actual TOG, it feels really short to them. Shorter than it should be, even.
Just a thing I noticed.

Very annoying how several things lately have been like
Tedious/lack-of-skill task comes up -> "if I don't do it now, it'll never get done" -> does the task -> the task is now done, yay! -> "wow, that was way less painful in practice"
