It's not propaganda. They were literally making monkey noises at iShowspeed. Please stop making excuses for Argentina's racism. Also, it wasn't just him, they were caught on camera throwing objects at fans of other teams. Argentina was a safe-haven for nazis after WWII and they also committed genocide against the black people there following slavery- a fact that they continue to lie about to this day. Black people once made up 1/3 of Argentina's population, now they're less than 1%, and that's by design. Racism is deeply engrained and normalized in their culture. The internet was disgusted by their behavior, and the referees very obvious bias towards their team, so everyone started rooting against them.

This was painful to read because mostly are wrong and VERY misunderstanding. Okay first I’m not Argentinian so please correct me if I’m missing something from school and google.
This is propaganda because it mixes real events with false historical claims to paint an entire country as uniquely racist.
Saying argentina committed a genocide against his black population is simply false because in argentina passed the Freedom of Wombs Law in 1813 years before the USA abolished slavery,and moved early to end the transatlantic slave trade after independence. The decline of the Afro Argentine population is explained by a combination of wars, epidemics, interracial marriage, european immigration, and changing census classifications just like th article said, not a state policy of extermination. There was something call "Desert campaign" in 1879 wich was a series of military expeditions and they massacred indigenous people, not black people.
In the other hand Argentina never received enslaved Africans on the same scale as Brazil or the caribbean, so claiming that 1/3 of the population simply "disappeared by design" is a distortion of history. Argentina of today is the result of centuries of mixing between indigenous peoples, afroargentines, criollos, spaniards, gauchos, italians, jews, arabs and SO many communities. So what's ironic is that many of the countries pointing fingers today was built vast colonial empires, transported millions of Africans through the transatlantic slave trade, imposed segregation (Argentina never did that), and extracted wealth from Africa, Asia and the Americas for centuries. Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands all have colonial legacies on a scale Argentina never had, please lets not forget the USA legally enforced racial segregation until the 1960s.
None of this excuses racism anywhere (cause theres stupid people EVERYWHERE) but it does expose the hypocrisy of portraying Argentina as uniquely racist while ignoring the far larger colonial and racial histories of many developed nations. Seriusly it’s pretty sad people are falling for this agenda it’s a classic jewish tactical zionist they did it before on middle east and now are doing it in latin america 😭 please google "Operacion Quito" or "Plan Condor".
AND honestly, I'd love to know where you're from anon, because I don't think this is just random hate. Even though I'm not argentinian, as a neighboring country's, I haven't seen foreigners or black people consistently reporting bad experiences in Argentina the way they have in other places especially Spain (click here for other people's experiences). But then again, I don't live there so...
