Asher x David roommates

Asher who brings home and sleeps with a stranger every week, because he's so pent up living with his crush

David who's so dumb he doesn't realize that he's jealous but 100% is

David says something a little ride to asher

Asher bring home another stranger

Saudi stranger won't leave , even though asher told him to, stranger getting a little aggressive not realizing asher lives with someone

David sees this, drags the guy out, gives him a few punches, says something about how trash like him doesn't deserve to think, touch or be near asher

Asher who realizes davids recent anger and stress was jealous, and realizing David doesn't know that either

Asher who teases David till David figures it out

I just really like jealous protective David, and they were roommates

thinking about public history and how one of my favorite things is that when David is around Asher he always makes the dumbest jokes that make no sense. like that “dawn of the final day” joke is nothing. the heelies bit is so dumb. the boy always wants to make Asher laugh but is noticeably worse at jokes with him than with anyone else.

7) Who said “I love you” first? and who ends their arguments in a fight with “Because I love you”?

They've been friends forever so I imagine they've been telling each other "I love you" for a long time. Asher is free and easy and earnest with his "I love you"s, so maybe David was the first one to say it in a romantic context.

"No, Ash, I mean I'm in love with you."

David is the one to end arguments with "Because I love you," especially if the argument was about something to do with health/safety (i.e. stop leaving the stove on when you leave the apartment.)

9) Who wakes the other up in the middle of the night to tell them a cool dream they had? Who has the most nightmares, and who sings them back to sleep after?

Asher would probably try not to wake David, but he'd be very excited to tell him about his dream when David wakes on his own.

David used to have more nightmares, and Asher, who loves singing and David, would hold him close and pet his hair and quietly sing. Post-Inversion, Asher gets nightmares too, and David holds him to his chest and either talks softly or just breathes with him, letting him listen to his steady heartbeat.

"David? Could you maybe sing me that one song, from when we were kids?"

"I...I can try."
