- you guys first met through mutual friends! your best friend from high school introduced you to each other at a party.
- that friend was a d1 wingman. she was trying to get one of you to finally ask the other out !!
- before you started dating, you guys would talk all the time, but you guys were “only friends”.
- yeah right. everyone knew you guys had a thing for each other, but you were both too afraid to say anything.
- ashton asked you out after one of your “platonic hang-outs”
- at the beginning of your relationship, he was definitely scared of messing up. he treated you like you were a piece of glass.
- extremely chivalrous; a stereotypical classic gentleman
- his love language is physical touch, and loves to cuddle.
- however, he will always make sure you are comfortable and will give you space whenever you need it.
- he sends you the stupidest instagram reels at 3 am
- he LOVES to take pictures of you!!
“oh my gosh delete that right now!! i look like a literal zombie!!” you scream, throwing yourself over his lap, reaching for his phone. “well you are a very cute zombie!” ashton giggles, lifting his phone just out of reach. “and besides, how am i supposed to remember what you look like when im on tour?” he sighs dramatically. “c’mon im always in the crowd, and i actually look put together!”

Summary: Sweet innocent Daisy flees her abusive high school sweetheart and her life in the bible belt to be an assistant to the drummer of 5SOS, Ashton Irwin. She is absolutely in over her head and coincidentally the perfect fit for the job.
WARNING: Themes of DV, Religion, and it's gonna get real kinky I promise you that.
Hey just fyi I'm down bad with a lot of free time so lmk what you wanna see ;)
Daisy stopped by the store on her way home, wandering through the stationery aisle. She bought a pack of pens, some highlighters, and a pink hardcover planner. She spent the rest of the afternoon filling it with her new boss’s upcoming schedule—color-coding different types of events and blocking out days she might be able to take off. She wanted to impress him.
That was exactly why she woke up extra early the next morning.
She took a long shower, an everything shower—exfoliating, scrubbing, shaving, polishing herself in every way. When she stepped out, she lathered herself in body oil, dried and curled her hair perfectly, and spent what felt like forever choosing the right outfit.
She finally settled on a black maxi skirt, an oversized white cardigan slipping slightly off her shoulder, and her black flats. Sitting at her vanity, she applied her usual simple makeup. She never did too much; she preferred the fresh-faced look. A little blush, some concealer, and, of course, mascara to accentuate her long lashes.
Then she was off.
The barista behind the counter greeted her warmly as she pushed open the door.
“Good morning, what can we get for you?”
Daisy smiled as she approached the counter. “Good morning! Can I please get a hot almond latte and a breakfast bagel with bacon?”
The barista nodded, ringing up the items. Daisy paid before stepping aside to wait. A few moments later, the bell above the counter rang as her order was placed in front of her. “Thank you. Have a good day!” the barista called. Daisy smiled politely before continuing on her way.
By 6:45, she stood outside the front door of his apartment. She took a deep breath, composing herself before knocking.
The door swung open almost immediately, startling her. It was as if he had been standing there the entire time, waiting. “You’re early. Good girl. Come.” The words hit her like a brick wall.
Good girl.
Oh God. The things she would do to hear that again.
“Daisy, come.”
The sound of him clearing his throat pulled her back into reality. She realized she had yet to step over the threshold.
She quickly nodded, mumbling an apology before following him inside.
He stopped near the kitchen table and pulled out a chair for her before lowering himself into the seat beside her. Daisy sat gracefully, placing the bagel and coffee in front of him while watching his hands as he unwrapped the foil.
She pulled the planner from her bag and opened it on the table in front of her.
Lifting his coffee to his lips, he nodded for her to continue. “Right, um, so today…” She pointed to the date on the page. “You have-”
“We, Daisy.”
She stopped.
“We have…” He trailed off, taking a bite of his bagel.
“Yes, sorry. Sorry, sir.” She looked back down at the planner. “We have a photoshoot downtown. We’re instructed to arrive by eleven to meet with the band and get wardrobe approved.”
“And it’s understood that this is your responsibility, correct?” He set his coffee down on the wooden table with a soft thud.
Daisy nodded slowly. “Yes, sir. I’ll make note of that.” She lowered her gaze and scribbled in the margin: Approve Ashton’s wardrobe following. “Is that all we have today, sweetheart?”
“Oh, um, no, sir. After the photoshoot, you have a dinner reservation with the band and a few managers to discuss the upcoming interview on Wednesday.”
He finished his bagel, crumpling the foil in his hand. “You’re attending dinner with us, Daisy. I need you involved in every conversation. As I stated yesterday, you are an extension of me.” He stood, pushing his chair in and picking up his coffee. “Follow me, sweetheart.”
His fingers curled upward, gesturing for her to follow. Stuffing her folder back into her bag, she followed him down the hall. “The living room and home studio are through the arch to the left of the foyer. This is the guest bathroom.” Daisy was hot on his heels, making note of what was behind every door. They stopped at the end of the corridor in front of a set of French doors.
“This is the bedroom.” He paused, his hand resting on the handle. “My bedroom.” He slowly opened the doors. His hand settled against the small of her back, guiding her inside. Daisy’s breath hitched at the unexpected contact, his long fingers warm against the fabric of her sweater.
Her eyes wandered around the room. A large king-sized bed dominated the center, covered by a thick brown duvet and sandwiched between two dark wooden side tables. Long black curtains framed the windows on the left, while two arches mirrored them on the opposite side of the room.
His fingertips drummed lightly against the small of her back before he finally let his hand fall to his side. “The bathroom and closet.” He motioned toward the right side of the room. It took him only two long strides to reach the edge of the bed before he turned back to her. “When you finish debriefing me on the day ahead, I need you to start the shower.” His eyes shifted toward the bathroom before returning to hers. “I like it hot, Daisy.”
She followed his gaze, quickly understanding what he meant. “Oh. Yes, sir.” She set her bag down on a nearby chair and walked into the bathroom.
Dark tiles clicked beneath her heels as she crossed the room. She reached for the knob and turned it to the right, letting the water run before extending her fingers beneath the stream to test the temperature. She adjusted it until the water was steaming.
Behind her, she heard his footsteps approaching slowly. Then she felt him. His chest brushed against her back, his breath warm against the side of her neck. He reached around her to test the water himself, his voice dropping to a low murmur.
“Feels perfect. Good girl.”
Before she could respond, his presence disappeared. Daisy straightened quickly, spinning on her heels to face him. He had barely given her a second to breathe before pulling his shirt over his head, revealing his tan chest. Heat rushed to her face, an embarrassing contrast against the cool tile at her back.
“Wait in the bedroom, Daisy.” He tossed his shirt aside. “Don’t need to get too familiar with each other yet, pet.” She nodded quickly, retreating from the bathroom. Once back in the bedroom, she stood against the wall opposite the bathroom door, clasping her hands together as she waited.
