I need to find a fanfic.Yes, I know how this sounds.It was published OVER 11 YEARS AGO.It has been deleted from AsianFanfics. Deleted from AO3. Deleted from Wattpad. The author has vanished. The Tumblr account has vanished. The links are dead.
And yet I remember this damn fic.
I am looking for “Obsession” by Brainboxy, a B.A.P. DaeJae fic from around 2014–2015.
Rich-kid elite university AU. Youngjae = poor scholarship student. Daehyun = absurdly rich and powerful
Daehyun sees Youngjae and goes “Dibs.” Youngjae says no Daehyun weaponizes the entire university against him until he gives in.
There is some absolutely insane university relationship/contract system. Daehyun proceeds to be controlling and abusive. Min gets a literal trial after Suzy slaps him, because apparently that's how this university handles interpersonal conflict😭
The trial eventually exposes Daehyun and Youngjae's relationship🫂 friends help Youngjae escape.
I first read it in Spanish on Wattpad around 2016, then discovered the original English version on AsianFanfics. I have spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find it again.
