Are you making a new Hogwarts or editing your previous one?

At first I thought about just editing the old one; but to be able to use the terrain tools it was best to make a new one from scratch. Then I got really excited and decided to follow the blueprints more closely. Specifically, the one used for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince featured in Harry Potter: Page to Screen. Now I have less room to build in the upper levels so I had to move a lot of rooms to the basement and dungeons.

OMG! Your Hogwarts build is surreal! Now that Realm of Magic is coming out, I can't wait to build a Harry Potter world (although, the drawback is that kids don't seem to have magic, so it may have to be for teens instead :'( )! I haven't put the download in my game yet, so I'm not sure how old it is or the CC bundled into it. But we shall see! Either way, you're appreciated and thank you! :D

Thanks! I’m hoping there will be a 64x64 lot in the hidden neighborhood (the Magic Realm) where I can place my Hogwarts build. Fingers crossed! I will be working on updating my build after the pack comes out and I will try to re-upload the changes as soon as possible. I’m really excited about it!

Are you going to build a complete hogwarts? If so when do you think it will be finished?

Hi! I’m so sorry I took so loooong to answer, I was on an extended vacation ;) I have already built a complete Hogwarts, now I’m just decorating the interiors. It’s almost finished but I left the boring and tedious stuff for the end and that’s probably going to take the longest.

My Hogwarts castle is based on HatsyYT’s build (though mine is bigger with many more rooms), you should check hers out in the meantime.  Her Origin ID is HatsyYT, look her up, she is amazing!

This is the best interpretation of hp sims I've ever seen! The rooms look like they're straight out of the movies except with details from the books. All the items you used look canon and are of such high quality. Usually Hogwarts builds end up looking sort of tacky, but this is so on the nose! I don't know how you managed to make your sims look so realistic without going cc-crazy... In general, I haven't ever seen mm sims look so similar to their inspiration. This is amazing.

Thank you so much! I have tried to read passages from the books about each of the rooms I’ve made and taken a lot of movie’s screenshots :) When I make the sims I always try to study many of the actors’ pics from different angles and whenever possible I try to keep the CC to a minimum. I’m really glad you liked it! ♡
