legitimate curiousity here: why do you dislike kacchako? i havent read the manga so am i missing something? its ok if you dont want to talk about it. i also enjoy bkdk, i can understand not liking it, even hating it, but why so much? the other stuff on your byf is like explictly pedophilia or abuse. again, if you dont want to talk about it thats fine, i'll softblock you if that makes you more comfortable

Bakugou is a flagrantly abusive character that, of the last time I checked in on bnha, has still not changed his behavior in a substantial way, faced consequences for his actions, or apologized. I don't care if it's "not in character" for him to do so. I hold fictional characters to the same standards I would a real person, so I do not like him. I don't trust people who ship Uraraka with him on principal, since the inciting moment for that ship was him kicking the shit out of her and since that moment there has been, as far as I can remember, no development of their relationship, platonic or otherwise.

As for softblocking, first of all thank you for offering, I appreciate it. Second of all, I'm not sure that the ship is on par with the others on my byf at this point, especially as it's something that could POTENTIALLY be valid in like. Au works that actually address Bakugou's flaws, like rewrites and stuff, because the history isn't there like in bkdk. I think I'm gonna just remove it from the list as it's way less severe than the others, since it should really be a "huh ok ur on thin ice im watching you" for other red flags instead of a knee jerk thing. Context matters you know.

I'm assuming that we're somewhat acquainted based on you sending me this in the first place, or you at least are like. Normal. As in not an abuse apologist. Based off of your politeness. So on the kacchako grounds, no, you don't have to block me unless you want to independently.

As for the bkdk, however. I am more iffy about this. Like I want to show you the same courtesy you've shown me here, so if you're amendable dm me and we can discuss why/the conditions of you shipping it so I can see if you're an. Ugh this sounds bad. Exception??? Idk how to word it without sounding immoral. And by discussion I genuinely mean discuss, not argue or fight or whatever.

If you're not comfortable with that feel free to like. Just sort of leave your identity in mystery and continue as you were. What I don't know can't hurt me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
