Emma was in a dark place. Her mind was constantly going a mile a minute on her hatred for Regina and plans to seek justice, but the one constant in her life was her family. Her son, however, was the one responsible for making her smile on her worst days. She grew tired living in despair and took herself from her thoughts, leaving her room in search of Henry to spend some quality time with him. “Hey, kid.”

Ruby loved getting to spend time with Henry. It was rare she got one on one time with him as there was usually always someone else home. But with Grace moved out and Emma and David spending some quality time together, she had the privilege of getting to babysit her favorite kid.
She had left him in the living room while she went to the kitchen to get them a snack. There was no such thing as too much sugar with Auntie Ruby. She returned to the living room with two big ice cream sundaes and almost dropped them when she saw a man standing in the middle of the living room and no Henry to be found.
"Who the hell are you and where is my nephew? Henry?!" She called out loudly for the kid and strained an ear to try and hear where he was in the house. She couldn't hear his tell-tale run, but she could still smell him strongly enough to know he was still in the house.

Regina was numb. She had been numb since finding out the poison her son had ingested, the poison she inadvertently gave him, had no antidote. She knew he would die and when he did she wasn't sure what she felt. She was in shock, she had never foreseen this happening, but knowing the strong and insightful young man she had raised she should have seen the possibility of it happening.
She stood away from everyone else at the funeral, but could feel the hate and anger towards her all the same. No tears were shed as his little coffin was lowered into the ground or as her only son was buried by her own fault. It wasn't until she return home, walked past his room, and decided to sit on his bed did she cry. She let out a gut wrenching sob as she hugged his pillow to her chest.
How could she have been so careless? How could she have let this happen? She should have insisted Emma eat the turnover right away instead of taking it for later and none of this would have happened. "Dammit, Henry." She sobbed as anger bubbled in her throat. Anger at herself. Anger at Emma. Anger at her son. "Why did you have to do it? Why couldn't you leave well enough alone? We could have had a happy ending together and now..." She was overcome with her tears as she trailed off, thoughts of how their lives could have been hurting far too much. She didn't expect any answers; she knew her son was gone.

Would you want to go back to the Enchanted Forest? Not just because my mom and Mary Margaret are there, but would you want to go back in live there or stay in Storybrooke?
Honestly, Henry, I don’t really care where we live. All that matters to me is that the four of us are together. There are good things and bad things about both realms.
“Look at how much fun they’re having,” Pan spoke to Henry as he rested one arm around his shoulders and used the other to gesture at the boys before them. Some were throwing daggers at a target marked on a nearby tree while others slashed their wooden swords at each other.
“The best thing about Neverland is that no one ever tells you no,” the lost boy explained in hopes of enticing Henry. Pan redirected the boy to sit with him on a nearby log. He needed to convince him that the island was his home now. Henry needed to trust him—believe in him.
“We’ve been waiting for you for a very long time, Henry,” Pan looked to the boy with a genuine smile. “You belong here.”

Henry, you're the only one who can. It won't be easy. It will require heroism and sacrifice, but it is a destiny that you are meant to fulfill. Are you up to the task?

Henry, I-- I’m really sorry I hurt you. It wasn’t my intention to hurt you... I just never thought I’d see your father again and he hurt me. I didn’t want to take the risk that he would do the same thing to you one day. You mean a lot to me. I love you, Henry. I made a choice thinking I was protecting you, but now I know it was the wrong one. I’m-- I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.
