"It's a lot deeper than it looks, isn't it?" - @ly-kos for Isha!

Isha hums in confirmation as calloused, scarred fingers poke at and examine the deep cut on her mother's back. On first examination, it looks fairly superficial, but the way it bled told Isha otherwise and as she gently parts the split skin, she can see just how deep the wound goes. The sight of blood or deep wounds doesn't turn her stomach, but the idea of her mama being in pain is upsetting. She pushes the feeling down though and stands.
"Just more paint on the canvas," she comments with a warm smile and a shrug, already heading to find a needle and thread. Usually, Ambessa stitches up the both of their wounds, but with where this one's at, there's no way she would be able to reach it. "Think you trust me?" they ask with a smirk, knowing that the answer is yes, waving the needle around. They've never stitched up a wound this deep and that makes them a little nervous, but they're not one to shy away from a task, least of all one given by their mama.
