Entry 75 - 100 more jumps to inhabited space

I'm very close to getting into inhabited space, now. I've heard from one of my friends on the Galnet that there have been more colonisation initiatives, so when I get to the Veil West Nebula, I should technically be in inhabited space. The Bubble apparently grows larger each week. It's something of a relief, as it means my trips are a lot less perilous (presuming I don't crash my stupid arse into a star). I'm going to speed my way to inhabited space and see how I fare in these newly colonised systems.

With all that's happening to Earth right now, it's comforting to me to look up at the stars and consider how utterly small all of our problems are in the eyes of the universe.

After about 4 jumps from the previous system. I came across a system with an earth-like planet. This is a first for my expedition. Discovering earth-like planets or planets capable of being terraformed is the primary goal for my mission. That, and just the joy of discovery. 

The planet, however, has some problems. It is earth-like, there is liquid water, land masses, a water cycle and oxygen in the atmosphere. However, the planet is about 50F and its day is longer than its year by about 86 days and its year is 157 days long. Gravity is about half that of Earth’s and Atmosphere is nearly double. It is not the paradise it seems on the surface.
