Execution Reaction || Shinju || RE: Masayoshi?, Tokiko
After the initial shock of Lukas’ actions wore off -it had been awful to hear the order he had completed his actions- yet still Shinju was thankful, since he had, indeed, saved them all. Of course, Miwa had made an unwilling sacrifice, but after a moments thought, she should have been thankful to her, too.
How gruesome to think about.
Regardless, the boy had even wished an execution on himself, and it was something Shinju valued him for, but there was just a faint lingering thought of how it would have been better for him to live, still. In all of this despair, Shinju felt rather calm, a strange stillness coming over her once again as she pressed her lips into a tight line, gripping the wheels of her wheelchair.
She could not bear to watch his execution, averting her gaze, looking over the faces of the remaining students, their numbers ever dwindling. How far would the game continue? As she had said, she should’ve been more alert to the situation, and she was going to make something about it, would the others follow her advice or not.
Masayoshi’s outburst after the execution was surprising, but it was no use replying to him, seeing as he fainted, and Shinju had waited for the others to speak up before she herself said anything. Shinju most definitely did not agree with the inventor. “Do you not think us all knowing each other better could have hindered Monokuma-san's plans, or stopped them completely? Trust is what we should strive for. After all, his plan relies on distrust and despair. Is believing that distrust is the only real option not playing by Monokuma-san's rules?”
The librarian’s gaze softened a bit. “I, at least, have this far thought of you as a rather reliable and a trustworthy classmate, even if we have hardly talked.” She shook her head lightly and moved over to Masayoshi to wake him up with a few soft-spoken words and a poke of her footplate against his arm, but her attempt was mostly in vain.
Shinju looked over the few of her classmates who fainted with nobody to help them, but there was not much she could do, and they seemed to be fine, so she eventually exited the trial room.
