Being so, it brings various pieces of information to my mind (Mercury) all at once. Because of the symbolism of Pisces, it’s as if we are looking in two directions at the same time (not literally). But it feels like we always have one foot up in the air and the other down here.
The Piscean walking antenna, in a mental sense (Mercury), brings to me, in my case [given that I already work energetically and spiritually], awareness of what is happening around me in terms of energies, intentions, and issues that some people are emanating.
It also brings messages and intuitions that Spirituality often sends. This happens continually and brings me more and more into contact with the Whole, which, if I’m not careful, can become exhausting. But today I'm using this to generate well being to me and others.
In the past, I had difficulty with this: it was a constant situation. I was picking up everything from everyone, even unconsciously, since Pisces is very connected to the unconscious, the invisible, and the astral world.
Over time, it improved as I became more aware of my processes with my Pisces and how my mind was not only filled with my own thoughts but also with the thoughts of others that I was picking up.
For you, perhaps this ability to pick up external thoughts and energies is simply a problem, and there is nothing good about it. In reality, it’s not quite like that.
The problem lies in the surroundings and often the poor quality of the things around to be picked up. But when we come into contact with love, with lightness, with harmony, whether from beings present here physically who are light, or from beings from other dimensions of the universe (Spirituality, that is what matters to me), it’s so comforting, so wonderful, and what an opportunity to feel what the other brings with them.
And it’s not just about that.
After all, the most beautiful aspect that Pisces carries with it is the connection with other people. It naturally picks up on things, without seeking its own advantage.
The sign (not the individuals with this sign! Each person has their own free will) has a selfless nature, serving by seeking to connect and getting to the root of what hurts, what causes imbalance. Pisces is altruistic, and, of course, this is beautiful and important—we need more of this in the world!
But considering a life in a world full of lower ego, gratuitous hatred, materialism, indifference, competition, and such, Pisces also needs strategies to wisely guard its energy.
To avoid wasting it on those who would value it the least.
To avoid bringing things into itself that do not resonate.
To remain solely with its own energy.
The biggest challenge for Mercury in Pisces is being present in its own thoughts. Pisces Mercury needs to practice this.
Because if the people don’t pay attention to the fact that the placement has an immense ease in connecting with the astral world and the energies around, they end up manifesting and feeling everything at once, both its own and others'.
Consciousness and presence, as well as self-knowledge, save any Piscean from this process.
Grounding, grounding, grounding.
Value your sensitivity, if Mercury in Pisces represents this in your natal chart (unfortunately, I have seen many cases where the person predominantly manifests the Shadow of this placement: intuition used to manipulate, control, victimization, emotional manipulation, constant lies, leading others into states of illusion, etc.).
Know yourself! That is what saves (or will save) you.
Finding Safety in the Stars ~ A Journey of Vulnerability and Astrology ~
As an astrologer and private soul, I’ve always found solace in the cosmos—astrology is the map that’s guided my inner work and often my most difficult conversations with self. Sharing my journey is something I’ve been holding close, almost like an astrological diary, where I record these moments of self-discovery tied to my natal placements and current transits. This piece is a step toward letting others witness that journey.
I recently met with a long-time client, someone who’s trusted me with their own path. I’m deeply grateful for my clients—they remind me why I keep showing up, even as I struggle to share parts of my own life. I feel the call to put my face out there and speak my own story, to stay disciplined in this practice, all while confronting my Scorpio Moon and 12th house Jupiter that would really prefer I stay quiet and out of the limelight. Fame? Not quite. Success in my passions? Absolutely.
But the truth is, no success—no healing—comes without risk, and lately, my Chiron in Virgo in the 10th house has been reminding me just how raw that can feel. There’s a fear of being “wrong,” of coming off uninformed or imperfect, a fear that guts me deeply. Still, I know the work must be done, the healing shared, the words offered, even if I’m afraid.
A Moment of Truth with Myself
Recently, I shared something deeply vulnerable with my partner. It wasn’t easy—in fact, it was gut-wrenching to lay out my own beliefs and biases, the ways I’ve held myself back socially and professionally, the goals I’ve avoided because I couldn’t shake certain ideologies about myself. I shared how painful it feels to carry that perception of who I am, that reality of self that I often want to hide. It was raw, uncomfortable, and yes, a bit cringy, but it was also one of the most beautiful, relieving exhalations of my life.
My partner listened, and in doing so, held pieces of me I didn’t want to hold myself. I hadn’t allowed myself to be held like that in a long time. I realized, too, that once I decided to let him in, there was no going back. Sharing this meant I couldn’t continue in my usual ways—I needed to be honest and open to the love he’s shown me, even when it’s difficult. He’s told me I’m an excellent defender of myself, but sometimes I defend so well that I close myself off even from him. That was before, though, and now I feel a shift.
Pluto’s Shift: A Catalyst for Releasing Old Beliefs
With Pluto moving from Capricorn in my 2nd house to Aquarius in my 3rd, my inner structures—my definitions of safety and openness—are shifting daily. I find myself challenged by my own mind, by the beliefs and fears that don’t align with the evolving love I want to cultivate. It’s been a tough journey of breaking down the walls within, facing uncomfortable truths, but those moments are balanced by an overwhelming catharsis. I’m witnessing my own evolution, the melting of old fears, and the welcoming of a new kind of safety—one rooted in honesty, shared vulnerability, and, ultimately, growth.
So, here I am, offering this piece of my journey as a reminder to those who feel the same resistance: our paths may be challenging, but they’re also woven with deep beauty and meaning. Through each conversation, each honest exchange, we’re reminded that while we may be our own mountains to climb, we’re also fully capable of reaching those peaks.

I do usually feel more at home during retrograde motion... but this is a lot to swim through.
Later this fall, dear impetuously backwards Mars, will conjunct my natal Sun + Mercury Rx (again). Then oppose my natal Jupiter Rx (again).
And then.... back again!AGAIN!!! babyyyyYYYyyy
to go over and see them all directly once more. Ooft and
Oy.
I think I’m beginning to see feel how retrogradation within the mutable signs does fully rock my boat due to the overemphasis of the double-bodied signs represented in my chart.
- Venus went retrograde in Gemini back in 2020 and that’s when I glued myself into this (red-flag-filled) relationship I moved across the country for
[a sappy and eager-to-Nest Venus Rx in the 4H, rose-colored glasses 4sure]
- I am currently in the midst of physically leaving and potentially returning to the same exact apartment I was in prior to this place. Gotta DIP, it is Not Good here and I need to leave much sooner than I initially thought!
[Mars Rx in the 4H if I ever did see it !!!!].
- Entered a hypomanic episode during much of Virgo season and that is definitely when the emotional processing happened (love you Mars + Moon). There seems to be a pattern of having a Very Horny Virgo Season for me in general however this time it was even more heavy-handed during Mercury’s retrograde back into Virgo in September, that’s for sure. Most of that was pretty fun at least lol.
- Right before Mercury stationed retrograde in Libra, transit Venus was conjunct my Mars at the same time that Mars in Gemini, still transiting his first decan, opposed my Jupiter Rx. It was so difficult for me to slow my body down, to eat, to sleep. One of the many scars I recklessly induced upon myself include a physical cut to my eyebrow from bending down too quickly and smashing my face on a table corner. One of the spiritual scars was a very Yuck sexual experience that tainted the slutting around I was so excited to be jumping back into post breakup.
- Once direct in Libra and directly opposite transit Jupiter Rx, almost back in Pisces (love you Saturn + ASC), that’s when I kicked a cabinet so hard my slipper got caught in the cracked panel. The stimulus being that my ex ate my food without asking, but the real reason I got angry was Everything Boiling Over that’d been under review since the *civil breakup*. I no longer felt civil in that moment. Hoping I’ll be done fixing the cupboard by the time I move out.. I don’t usually break things.
- Most recently, during this likely long catalogue of mutable moments during Mars’ transit, my boot got caught on the pedal while trying to brake resulting in a (minor) car accident the day after Mars stationed Rx last week. I no longer have a front bumper.
Everything is breaking physically right now.
Maybe there is a little lesson in looking back to that Venus Rx in Gemini two and half years ago... Maybe I was breaking some emotional promises to myself while I ignored those flags and nestled in anyways. I’m gonna simmer with that for a bit...
Studio Moon Journal: Grand Trine, Toy Camera, and the "Chin-Face" Singing Sensation
The moon is growing! Let's see? What's been on my mind...
I’ve been having sooo much fun with this new toy receipt camera. At first, I hesitated—thermal prints aren’t exactly archival—but something about the tiny, grainy, impermanent snapshots feels like magic. It’s like experimental photography but with the immediacy of todays tech.
....Whom which i just enjoyed an anniversary with. As my gift and means of celebrating i preformed a 30 minute long variety show for him last week. I feel so good about this recent performance art moment. A chin-face puppet theater, a swan dance (with full costume), burlesque, a ukulele rendition of Till There Was You, and the clumsiest magic show you’d ever see. Pure, joyful absurdity.
Please enjoy this gif i made of my chin face performance.
Also Transiting Mars in my ascendant is making a grand trine with my natal Pluto in the fifth and natal moon in the 9th on the MC, and Pluto is trining Saturn conjunct that natal moon. I don’t know exactly what that means yet, but I feel it.
I'm almost done with my "Brain Rot" Zine. A little practical, a little dreamy. A collection of thoughts, doodles, on escaping the digital haze.
In other news,
Lately, I’ve been in a strange mood to write Amazon reviews. Not the functional, “works great” kind, but the dramatic, needlessly poetic kind. Maybe the world needs a heartfelt ode to my the bulk almonds and organizer bags.
Been looking into Uranus in astrology and reading about machine learning.
My toddler is growing—funnier, cuter, more mischievous by the day. Such magic and goodness in my life.
I want to make special valentine conchas.
Hooophh... that was so much! Last January felt like a whirlwind. Life is slowly becoming more organized.
And now, time to decorate for Valentine’s Day and make my teddy bear valentines.
