Addie Young for @beachofhearts!!!!

Addie was born on Magnolia Promenade to a couple of high-end storeowners, but it was in the bustling streets of SanMy that she met her first love: the skateboard.

It all started on a business trip with her parents, where Addie had stayed over on an older cousin's apartment while they immersed themselves on some profit-increasing workshop led by a honey-lipped bigshot coach. The chaos and the fast pace of the city quickly swept her off of her feet, and she started returning to SanMy over and over, until one day, she had never left again.

Truth is, her parents didn't approve of prim and proper slacks replaced by gritty denim, polished shoes exchanged for asphalt-worn sneakers. Said that the city "stole away" their precious boy. That Addie had been corrupted.

But she found herself on her first successful kickflip (after falling on her butt and her face thousands of times). If that feeling wasn't transcendental, she didn't know what was. Her cousin fostered her - detached, not entirely understanding her, but not shunning her either. Peaceful. A place to land, until she could get both her feet on the floor and walk on her own.

She blossomed on the hustle and bustle of the sport. Learned a lot, innovated a lot. Developed her styles, her confidences. Made friends, and became somewhat of a reference in SanMy as she not only revitalized the Gal's Skateboarding League of the city, but also started making her way up competitions.

So far, Addie had won a gold, three silvers and four bronzes on National competitions, and places consistently enough to take part of the Mundial Championships - didn't place on her first, won a silver the next one, and bronze last time. Right now, she's gunning for the gold.

But how do people say it... Luck in the game, bad luck in love? Addie has many friends, but not that many deep connections when it comes to romance. She can woo people left and right, but beyond her first boyfriend - who broke up with her when her dreams of Mundials started to pick up and she had to travel around - nobody really stays. (She doesn't, either.)

Maybe the Beach of Hearts is the place to find someone who will?

Or, at least, charm some new faces and refine her flirting game. That also could work.

✏️Anahí left Ciudad Enamorada to pursue a creative arts degree on one of the biggest creative hubs in SimNation, Evergreen Harbor. Sadly for her, the university plan kind of was temporarily put on hold midway through - academics are rigorous regardless of how "easy" any given course might look on the outside, and she had one too many deadlines pressuring her slow pace (has no professor ever heard about the turtle and the hare?). But still, Evergreen managed to become her home as she started to work on the library - first as assistant, then as clerk.

Along a job, Evergreen also gave her a hobby: Toy restoration, especially of dolls and plushies. And it gave her a love, by chance or accident, in the middle of an Arts and Crafts fair, and she and Ethel have been going steady ever since.

Now, if only Ethel would just please marry her so they can finally live together...

Intelligence Analyst Carina Biancco, reporting for duty in @ruthplaysthesims S.I.M.S!

After nearly 20 years of inactivity, Carina finds it an honor to not only be accepted, but invited to return to the headquarters that not only shaped her younger years, but were the foundation to the rest of her life.

In her young adulthood, Carina had worked as a field agent, ranging from infiltration to communications interference and code-breaking to acquire valuable intel. At other times, she had sat behind the comms, helping direct and coordinate other teams.

It was on one of those directing efforts that the tartosan had managed to ensnare the heart of a fellow agent through the comm, whom would soon start courting - and ultimately, marrying - her.

The couple had two children together, living happily for almost ten years, before disaster struck: her husband sadly passing away on a mission overseas. With two kids to care for - and soon enough, taking in a third - Carina retired from S.I.M.S to Willow Creek, under the identity of "Kimberly", to focus on supporting her family emotionally and protect them from possible attacks due to her relation to the organization.

Now, with her children already well under way and living independently, Carina sees the perfect opportunity not only to return to her activites (well, some of them. Her physique isn't the same as it was, with surgeries and all) but to oversee and mentor this new generation of agents.

A seamstress and a king, for @ashubii's the princess and the pauper ✨

Okay, I am aware that this deviates A LOT form the movie (and YES, I watched it to see what I had to work on there). But I also had the freedom for artistic liberties, so... Here are a bit of my thought processes:

Firstly, starting with the original Love Interests... the Princess Legacy challenge says that the heirs should fall in love with their counterpart's best friend. Which is relatively fine to adjust with King Dominic as the pauper's LI, but a version of Julian as the princess' LI is significantly harder to adhere to that stipulation because he is Anneliese's best friend in the movie. And also, they look the same, that's no fun! They have good personalities, but I really saw them as pratically the same person thorought the movie, so it was more of a natural process to condense them both in a single sim, and give the princess a different LI

And that LI is my recreation of Bertie <3 She has like... five lines in the entire movie and captivated me more than any other character. She's cute, she's kind, and the movie does NOT make her justice because all of those five lines went completely ignored by the protagonists. Outrageous. So, naturally, I gave the story a spin to fit her into the role of the princess' LI and pauper's best friend (the latter she already was).

Some other fun facts:

-> The Gen is supposed to live in Tomarang, so I made Ekkarat inspired by ASEAN men - I thought it would be both boring and kind of tasteless to make Tomarang be ruled (or have the princess married to) a bland white boy lol.

-> That being said, he does not follow closely any nationality both because Tomarang by itself is a bit of a mix, and because I didn't have all that much time to go deep into research about it.

-> But he's hot and he wears eyeliner and I kind of drooled at the finished result

-> Also, from what I managed to read, his name means Emperor in sanskrit. And his surname means "wheels rolling", also in sanskrit, but from what I read it is associated a bit with royalty. (then again, I might just be guillible)

-> Bertie did not have a surname in the movie for me to borrow it, so I gave her the surname of her original voice actor (Katherine Barr), and I quite liked the alliteration with my attempt to modernize her name a little bit.

-> She baby. I'd die for Ekkarat, but I'd kill for her. Cutie patootie, just like her movie version.

(After all, every good aspiring politician should have one or two ties to... influential people.)

Owners of one of the fanciest lounge bars in town, Emmanuel and Melissa are the image of a power couple. Despite having been married for convenience in their younger years, as a ploy to strengthern and unite their families in their... business, their marriage stands strong in a solid foundation. That isn't to say though, that the pair doesn't appreciate some more exquisite games. Both have high tastes, you see, and spent years refining the thrill of the chase. Whether tag-teaming or competing against each other, they manage to sweep their targets from their feet with refined, elegant ease. Could a certain precious ruby capture the attention of this dangerous duo?

Apolline Odette d'Artagnan - An all-in contestant for @changingplumbob's Dating Deanna

Messy, messy girl. Not even she’s exactly sure on why she decided to give this a shot in the first place. Marrying isn’t even on her plans, per se! In fact, it is the last thing in her mind after… that. But well, her siblings keep insisting she should stop being so bitter over it all already and move on, and worst comes to worst, at least she’ll have had some fun, and met a kindred spirit or two in the process. (The bit in the introductory segment, the one talking about the bachelorette’s high school sweetheart and falling too hard, falling, falling, falling endlessly into a hopeless abyss of feelings that will never be reciprocated-) (No. It wasn’t quite like that, was it? At least one of them had been lucky before) (Not her. Why couldn’t it have been her?) …It felt like a familiar enough story.

Nevermind the fact that she is clearly purple-coded, but eh. In my opinion those colors look good together, so...

Am I once again making a post for sims that only me and the receiver can know fully about? Yes. Yes, I am. I love taking part in a good mystery.

But some general, non-spoiler facts!

Miranda means "worthy of admiration". Can you tell why have I chosen this name for her?

Her aspiration is to become famous for her programming - be as the sweet "Shortcake", current leader of her high school's coding team, or as the more... controversial, underground "Bombshell".

The other people in the picture? Not important. Nobody will stand in her way of achieving recognition, one way or another.

Friends, foes... labels change all the time. If one thing is for sure, though, is that Juniper will have a rivalry (friendly or otherwise) in her hands.

She has rosacea. My preference for saturated editorial-like images kind of take it away, but trust me, her cheeks are so pink.

She is strawberry blonde (do you see where her aliases come from?)
