(Remember me? The AI AU Anon? ;) ) Android Anna falls in love with the stars, the planets, the moon. She likens Elsa to the moon, with it's quiet beauty, and ethereal glow. As they stand on the roof of the lab with the telescope Elsa brought, she stares at the scientist's skin, pale and ghostly, almost. Beautiful. Anna looks at her own, covered in freckles like the sky and its stars. She wants to wrap around Elsa like the night sky to the moon.
( :D )
When Anna searches her memory banks, one of the first instances of true feeling comes from looking up at the stars, and seeing herself up there. The wonder never truly leaves. Finding Elsa in the night sky brings it back times a million.
(That isn’t the precise measurement, but humans are encouraged to be imprecise about the strength of their emotions. What Elsa makes her feel goes far off her preset charts anyway, so she thinks this is a lesson she’ll be a master of in no time.
(Practice is encouraged in Annas.))
Like all of the wonderful things of the world, she tries to share her observations with Elsa, but before she can get to the night, and the stars that the beautiful moon shares it with, Elsa finds something different.
If she’s the moon, she tells her, that makes Anna her sun.
That is not what Anna meant at all.
But maybe Elsa’s just better at metaphors, because when she says it, Anna can feel her heating coils bring the sun to life inside of her.
