I imagine I would have been bored if I read it but as I listened to it, it was interesting enough to keep me listening. At first, when I saw this available on Libro FM I checked the ratings and was disappointed as it is in the low 3 stars but I read the blurb and I thought I'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. To me, it built the tension nicely before what really happened to Maya's bestfriend comes to light. It shows Maya's struggles as an effect of what happened.
