My Mom knew I couldn't deny the siren song of learning a new hobby so she got me a latch rug kit made for children
That means I can figure it out, right

So I got a cross stitch Advent calendar where every day is a new tiny project! So far I've noted that the fabric they use is TERRIBLE (it's like thin felt with plastic thread glued on a grid on top) and the first project used a color the kit didn't come with. I also messed up the project a little but I think it still came out cute!
Okay so after tossing out the AI Slop project I decided to go with these cross stitch bookmarks next. They're really cute, but my big problem is that they use the actual colors of the thread for the pattern, which makes it almost impossible to tell what progress I've actually made. Can you tell what color I worked on today at a glance?
