i have decided to make the two cats Splashkit witnesses fighting Rushtooth and this fella:
Rushtooth was apparently part of RiverClan at one point, and I may give them descendants. If these descendants are dead by the time of ASC, then it kind of gives them a reason to haunt RiverClan's camp and for Splashtail to see them around. Oddly enough, I'm thinking Mosspelt/Turtlestalk (AU name). Mosspelt's sister in canon is Emberdawn (not Silverhawk's mate), and they have no listed parents; not one is mentioned nor is shown on the family tree.
That long ass vertical line is not linking Emberdawn and Mosspelt to a parent, it's actually Reedfeather (and Fallowtail) connecting to Graypool and Willowbreeze lmfao
Also, Mosspelt is apparently a brown tortie (according to the tree), but I actually like the wiki's muted depiction of Mosspelt
So that's what she looks like in the AU, perhaps a bit more gray instead of brown. And even if Mosspelt stays unlinked to Rushtooth, that other Emberdawn is still completely free to use. She only appears in Leopardstar's Honor, and most people I see didn't even know Mosspelt had a sister. This also allows me to clear the tree a bit. Even though Emberdawn never had kits, if I just gave her ancestry to Rushtooth and gave her some kits in the larger RiverClan tree, it would mean more fresh blood to use. Some examples of other RC warriors without familial links are Swallowtail, Rainstorm, Pinefur, Otterheart, etc. None of these characters might be Emberdawn's kits, we'll see. Some of them might live to ASC, be her parents, so on so forth. And there's also those kits that existed to die.

i call it a pseudo-au bc it's mostly filled w/ concepts i keep in a chest
and different interpretations of characters i know will never happen "well why are you revamping the family tree if your au is filled with concepts?" because it pisses me off
