The purpose of this report is to assess the potential economic impact of climate change on the CARICOM countries. It develops estimates of potential economic impacts due to climate change in the absence of adaptation actions. Areas to be impacted by climate change are listed and their vulnerabilities explained with the emphasis placed on the necessity of adaptation. In concluding, it points to the inevitability of economic loss but stresses the difficulty of having an accurate estimate given the uncertainty of global mitigation efforts.
